I have a friend who hates getting scared by pranks. Like as simple as someone coming behind her and making her jump by saying boo really loudly freaks her out, then afterwards she gets extremely angry and yells at people while on the verge of tears. We've been friends a long long time, and I've seen it every so often over the years and was just wondering if this kind of reaction was normal, or at least if others had friends/family who did this. I'm just wondering because tonight when her boyfriend scare her she just started yelling at him "Do you like being scared, does anyone like that!?" I mean I don't personally mind, I find that kind of stuff funny, but was wondering what other people thought.

Hey everyone, I'm a bit stumped on what I want for Christmas. I'm heading home for the holidays, and although I don't want any presents my parents have decided they're getting me at least one, and I can decide what I want or have them waste some money and probably get something I don't like too much.

Now, I used to be really into games. PS3 and a pretty lame laptop are what I've got (by lame I mean runs games on low settings, used mostly for school work.) I don't really play games too much anymore, I'm normally too busy hanging out with friends or doing schoolwork, but I was leaning toward getting a PS3 game or something. I'm really open to anything except clothes. Giving something functional like clothes as a present kills the point of a present to me.

Little background on me; I live without a TV most of the time, but could still play games when I visit my family. I have the aforementioned laptop on which I've played WoW and LoL casually, but don't really like spending money on them. I'm leaning toward getting a PS3 game, but have no idea what I want. I like RPGs, MMOs, and shooter games. Other than that, my hobbies mostly include things that I don't have to spend money on, so it's a no go there.

Anyone have some good ideas? Some awesome games that would be enjoyable, or perhaps other gift ideas? I'm open to anything, just curious to see if I stumble upon a good idea here. Thanks in advanced for any answers :)

I'm a 20 year old student who has just transferred to a 4 year university and I need loans to pay for college. I was going through the financial aid program, but I just learned over the phone that I'm not actually eligible even though its all been set up and school is just a couple weeks from starting. So now to go to school I need to find some alternative loans. I will be eligible for financial aid after this semester, so I only need enough for 1 semester's worth of schooling. I also need something that I will not need to pay back immediately, and of course as low an interest rate as possible.

If anyone can please please please tell me if you happen to know of good alternative loans then please direct me there. So far I only see bank loans online, which I am definitely going to be looking over. Thank you in advanced for any help received.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if I might be at risk for alcoholism.

I'm a 20 year old male. I really like to drink and get tipsy, but I absolutely hate the feeling of being drunk. If I had my way, I'd probably get tipsy every other day, and my favorite drink is vodka. I like to drink with my brother, but also enjoy drinking alone. To be honest it does make me feel better about everything. It helps me relax and be more chill, and I can look at things in a more positive light.

I'm wondering if maybe I just like it so much because I'm under 21 and have a harder time getting alcohol because of it, but as I said, if I had my way I would probably get tipsy every other day or so. I would never like to drink when I have something to do, such as school work or a job, but just at night when I want to relax while watching TV or playing games.

I just wanted to know if I showed any signs of alcoholism or if I'm in the clear with my behavior. I worry about it a little because I smoke, and I hate the addiction to that. If anyone with knowledge on this stuff could respond it'd be great. Thanks in advance to any advice :)

I used to work at Target for a few months, and now I'm applying for jobs. I need to put down my job title for when I worked at Target. What I did was worked in the grocery aisle and arranged the shelves to look nice, moving items from the back of the shelves to the front in order to make it appear as though the shelves were full.

Anyone know what that job title is? I think people said Zoner, but idk if I should put that on my application. Thanks in advanced for any help.

I'm watching the anime Elfen Lied today for the first time with a friend. My friend is ok with violence and all that, but can't stand animals getting hurt or killed in anime, so if someone knows for sure please answer =)

My ex broke up with me about a month ago. I'm still madly in love with her. She is really everything I've ever wanted in a girl. I respected her, was nice, we got along well, and for the most part were happy, until she had some stress due to a new job and family, and she broke up with me.

I just learned over facebook that she is now going out with another guy, and I'm really upset over it. I really want to be with her still, but I know that its not going to happen. I'm just wondering what I should do. She wasn't just my girlfriend, but she was my best friend since we started going out. Really, it was insane how happy she made me.

I don't know whether I should try talking to her, and telling her how I feel just to get my thoughts and feelings out, or if I should ignore them and try to just shrug it all off, or what. I've got an obsessive personality, but I'm not pushy with her at all. I've given her lots of space since the break up. This just really does hurt a lot.

So should I try talking to her? Or should I just cut her out of my life completely without any contact?

Also, any advice on getting over her? I'm just really messed up right now, and don't know what to do.

I just finished watching the anime Ben- to, and was wondering if it followed the same storyline as the manga or not. I really liked it, but I kind of wish the relationship between the main character and his love interest develops more in the manga. However, if its the exact same as the anime, I don't want to bother reading the manga too.
