Ok, it was a cereal commercial, like crispix or something. Most likely from 1997. There was a tired looking guy pouring himself a bowl of cereal.. i vaguely remember an asian woman in the background, but i might be wrong.

Unfortunately, its been so long that I can't remember any of the lyrics, but its from 2001. I remember the artist was interviewed about how he came up with it. He said its about this girl from high school he ran into. she used to be smart and innocent, but she ended up working at a strip club. he asked her how it happened and she said she did it to provide for her baby.
