  • Can I still print a shipping lable from Paypal if my account has a negative balance?

Sold a lot of stuff to one person, shipped all but one piece that was very large & heavy. There was some confusion when the items were picked up & the larger box was left behind. The buyer didn't bother to ask so we could look in to it, he rather filed a complaint & now my paypal account has a negative balance. I contacted him as soon as I found out what was going on & he was very nice about it, I explained what had happened & told him I would ship it today.... I also have other items to ship & need to print shipping labels.

Can I print them and have the $ taken from my checking just like I normally would even thought there is a Neg balance? Without it taking the shipping costs & Neg balance from my checking?

  • What is a name for someone that never gives for free but expects to be given to?

Example: We have a race coming up a "friend" of my husbands has been saying for months he will go to the race and work in the pits, we thought this was a friendly gesture. He now is saying we must pay him to go... This is typical of him, BUT if the table was turned and my husband asked to be paid he would be livid & tell him to F* off. Its not about the money, we intended on paying for gas, food & a hotel room. Its the principal of it, this is a typical move for him & not just with us he is like this with everyone & everything... always expects people to do favors & things for free for him but he never does anything in return.

What is this called... I want a actual word for the dictionary that explains a person like this please

  • My Grandmother passed away in May 2012 she worked full time do I need to file a tax return for her?

Passed away May 5 2012, collected S.S. & Worked 32 hrs a week at a job. I was put in charge of all her personal stuff. She had nothing but a little bit of $$$ in the bank (enough to cover her final expenses) so there was no "executor" put in place. The lawyer drew up an affidavit that said I was entitled to all that there was.

Will I need to file a tax return on her behalf?

  • Any one know the in's & out's of VA Loans?

Can you have multiple homes on a VA Loan, meaning I have a home valued at about 80,000 I owe 58,000 and I have a convental mortgage. I am Looking to get in to a larger home with a rental home on the property for 125,000 valued at about 169,000 ... can I get a VA loan to purchase the 2nd home and pay off the first homes mortgage? Having both homes being used as collateral?? Basically I would be looking at a loan of about 185,000 with the propertys values being about 230,000-250,000.

So I would be living in the Main home on the new houses property, renting my old home and the cabin on the new homes property.

  • Does a Mortgage company have to report to the credit agencys?

Here's the deal... We hit a ruff patch a few years ago and yes we were late on some house payments, We got caught up and have been on time for the last 16 months.

MY husband was called to active duty with the National Guard last year for 400 days & went to Iraq on his 2nd tour. Our mortgage company took our interest from 6% to 4% Because of the SSRA.. which was great! BUT today we pulled our credit reports (something we do yearly) and found that the mortgage company has not reported sense we caught up our payments that we have made the last 16 months on time. not all of the reports but some of them have the charts and they are colored red, yellow and Green... we have nothing showing from 5/10 on.... Shouldn't they be reporting that we are caught up and have been in good standing?

Also on one of the reports it doesn't even show it as a Mortgage account, its listed under Negative (because of the late payments) but doesn't show it in good standing at the present time. and under Mortgage accounts nothing is listed.

I have contacted our mortgage holder and am waiting a call back but I thought maybe someone here could offer some advise.

  • National Guard called to active duty and the TSP..?

husband national guard called to active duty for a minimum 400 days in a combat zone. Our understanding is with the TSP we can contribute while he is overseas at 10% intrest, once he returns home we can withdraw those funds with no penalties and No taxes, as long as its done while still on active orders and the funds were made while serving in a combat zone.. True, false or misunderstood?

  • How long for a security clearance?

How long does it typically take to get a security Clearance? Im to to working with the FRG and had a spouse ask me what it was all about.

Her husband is National guard deploying in a couple months and he called her with a long list of info he needed for a clearance. He's 88mic SSG with like 7 years in and she was saying they have never had to answer so many questions.

That just got me thinking... don't these things take some time? Wouldn't they want to get it done before he deploys? And why would he need a clearance to be a driver more or less? Really just wondering.

  • Should be looking in to where his pay check is?

My husband took a week off from his civilian job and went to a class for the national guard, he graduated the course on 5/28, His My Pay account is still not showing that this is suppose to be paid anytime soon. Normally in less than a week we would see something post showing when the check would be paid. He also had drill last weekend and that always shows up on Mypay the Tuesday following drill paying the next tuesday but its not showing either.

Should we be checking in to this? We are now short a weeks pay and there are bills to be paid!
