I've know this guy for about 3 years. We just started talking and getting to know each other after my fiancee and broke up which was about 2 1/2 months ago. He has been a great friend and listener. He is my ex fiancee friend and he told me that he wanted our friendship to grow and get to know each other after he got over the whole situation of me and my ex fiancee. Should I bank that there is a chance of us getting together or is to devoted to his friend (my ex fiancee)? He has gotten his eyes open to what type of man the my ex fiancee is but I don't know if he'll stay true to that friendship or not.

I was engaged to be married and we was together for 5 years. At first the relationship was great. He done things that girls wanted. After about 2-3 years he started telling me lies conning me out money. Pretty much lead me to believe that I couldn't find no one else so I stayed with him. We've been broken up for about 1 1/2 half and I went to lunch with a guy friend but I felt I wasn't ready for another relationship just getting out of the bad one. I'm hanging out with another guy friend in May after he graduate college and he wants a relationship as well. We have been talking through email. I miss the companionship with someone but I don't know if I'm ready for another relationship. How will I know?

My ex fiancee put me through a lot and his friend was there to pick up the pieces. We correspond through email every day or every other day because he is in college. He told me when he get back home that we will hang out. When my fiancee and I was together his friend always had a big hug and a kiss for me. He made a comment that he was looking for a good girl but she was already taken and looked right at me. I wrote an email recently just asking casual question about school, job hunting, his family etc. His hasn't relpied. Did I over step my boundaries?
