  • Was given a trick task of finding an AAAAA battery?

    I double checked & it says 5 A's & not 4 A's. i.e AAAAA & not AAAA

Physically I would expect such a battery to be smaller than the AAAA.

How do I go about finding?

  • What kind of motors are used in cars?

I always read in papers and mags about motors in cars. It never occurred to me the kind of motors they use in cars. Do they use slip ring motors, induction motors or dc motors? What type of motor is used in cars and why that type?

The other question is where in the car's drive train are those motors located?

    For example,

A 2010 Nissan GTR has a 395 kW (530 hp) and can reach speed of up to 195.0 mph (313.8 km/h).[

The Audi R8 GT (road car) with a 412 kW motor and can reach speed of up to 199 mph (320 km/h)

A BMW G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RS with a 551 kW (750 hp) motor can reach speed of up to 367.4 km/h

It seems like the more power the motor can deliver, the more speed the car can reach. But back to the main question, what type of motor is used in a car and where are they located?
