One of my good friends has just recently started becoming... erm... active? The problem is that she isn't good with remembering to "protect" herself. She's not good with condoms and the guy apparently isn't either.

Here are some things to consider:

1) She is a college student and doesn't have a lot of money

2) She is on her parent's insurance, but she can't tell them about her having sex... they're really conservative

3) No, this friend isn't really me.

How can she get birth control to further protect herself without her parents having to get involved. I really care about her and I don't want her stupidity to result in an unwanted child. Thank you :)

I am going to cheer camp soon and I have a couple people staying in my dorm with me. There will be a door decorating contest on the first day, but everything has to be designed before we get there. We have a couple of ideas, but we haven't decided on a theme and we need to know fast (we all cheer football with a mix of jv and varsity). Any suggestions? And be specific if you can.

Not sure which one would be the best for this cake. I would like to make my own frosting and not buy it from a store so a recipe would be nice too... and any tips if you have them.

I have dry hair and I was thinking of using their moisture repair line, but I'm not sure if I should get it without seeing some good reviews first. I've used the anti-humidity spray from their flat out line and I loved it.

Also, if the moisture repair line isn't that good, what do you recommend? And if KMS shampoos and conditioners aren't good at all, what professional brand should I use?

Here are some points to help you:

-Im black with natural hair

-Its about 3c/4a textured and pretty dry

-I don't really straighten it

I'm 16 and two of my friends are really into musicals and theater just like I am. I decided that for Christmas, I would buy them both a soundtrack from a Broadway musical (not the same one though because they live within 2min of each other and they could just exchange CDs and put the music on their ipods). I have decided on "Wicked: The Musical" for one of them, but I just can't choose the next!!! I thought about "The Little Mermaid: The Musical", but I'm not sure. So could you please help me?

Facts about my friends:

1) One is 16 and the other is almost 16

2) Don't be concerned with the content in the songs. Our parents don't have too many restrictions on us so some stuff can be inappropriate.

3) They BOTH already have "Legally Blonde: The Musical" and "13:The Musical" so please don't suggest those.

I can't play videos on youtube or google or facebook or anything! I don't know whats wrong. It just starts playing the video and after a couple seconds, it stops. Im so angry. I tried going under the help section of youtube, but it didnt help much. I treid refreshing, but that doesn't help either.

Its summer so cheer camp starts and that's a big problem because my hair is "natural", meaning that I am of African descent and my hair texture is... sort of kinky and without any chemical straighteners. If you didn't know that already, you probably shouldn't answer this question. Oh, btw, my hair is about 4a/4b kinda. Also, if you dont know what that means, you should probably look it up because its REALLY important.

So getting back to my question, I am going to be practicing 4 days a week (or more. Im not sure yet) and you wouldn't believe how bad my hair gets when I sweat! Plus its short too (about two inches above my shoulders) so that's not helping any! So I was thinking of conditioning it every morning and putting it back with a little gel so that it won't get on my nerves, but I need a gel that won't flake or dry out my hair (because AA hair is naturally dry most of the time). So could someone please help me? Oh also, could it be a gel that I could buy at the store or something. I do have access to a couple of salon products, but im not sure if I can pay for them. Is Aussie good? Herbal Essences? Plz let me know! Im desperate!!!

Im auditioning for a little mermaid the week after next and I really don't know what to sing. I have to sing a 1minute song and do a 1minute monologue and Im puzzled on both of them. I was going to try to sing "That's How you Know" from Enchanted, but I was thinking I should prob try something softer since my voice isn't really all that strong. Does anyone know what I could do monologue wise and song wise? Also, I don't want to sing anything from the play. It just sounds cheesy.

Okay, so I have been working on my backhandspring for a while (actually, longer than the average person should) and I think I realize the problem. Having a spot. Im more of a trial and error person. I think that having a spot just makes my body think that they're going to get me over anyways and I end up slacking off and not doing it right. Do you think it would be safe if I tried it on a trampoline? Not a standing, but a round off back handspring. I can't do a standing because I don't jump hard enough, but Im pretty sure I would be able to do a round off back handspring on my own because the round off gives you power. Also, I have tried a round off back hand spring with a spot before. I mean, you would think that after falling on my head 3 or 4 times, I would get what I am doing wrong. Don't people teach themselves how to tumble everyday? I even know the steps, sit, swing arms, arch back and jump, look for the ground, keep arms locked, hit ground and bring feet over. So should I try it. I just get so frustrated in tumbling class and I have to get it. Do you think it would help? All try outs are comming up and I have to be able to tumble. Also, my roundoff is good so I don't have to worry about that. thanks =)

Okay, so I decided that I would try and grow corn this year. I just watered the soil yesterday to get it ready for the corn because it is germinating right now and I put a little too much in so it was kind of...soaked. Then today I went downstairs and looked at the soil and I saw some worms. Really small worms in it (btw im starting the corn inside in a pot inside so this is really strange for me) I know that worms are good for the plants, but my question is how did they get in there & are they still good even though my plant is inside? I didn't even know that there were any in there. For starters, this soil did have a plant it in about 5 months ago, but it died and my mom cleaned it out. Then about a month or so ago, I tried to grow some radish plants and they died within a week =( & even before that, the soil was pretty dry. And since those radish's died, I have not put water in the soil and it has gotten VERY dry. So even if there were worms in it before, how did they survive? Doesn't there have to be some water in the soil for them to survive?

This is how I found my first independent film & I really would like to do another where the auditions are near Atlanta. I don't care about where the actual shooting is. Okay, so my neighbor has this little itty bitty dog named bob. He is less than a foot long (like 6 inches) and he is full grown. He trots all around the neighborhood, but I have yet to see him. My sis says he is really cute and plays with him all the time and all my neighbors have seen him. I think I saw him tonight running across the street, but Im not sure if that was really him or just a chipmunk or something. I want a little dog like this and I would like to know what kind of breed it is. I know this isn't really a good description, but he is also black and brown... could anyone help me? please?

I did school last year. I was on jv football & it was fun & all until we got a new coach. Nobody on the squad really liked her. Now I don't want to try out because I know that I am not going to move up to varsity this year & i am going to be stuck with the same coach.

I was at tumbling yesterday & my coach said (for the millionth time) that I should try-out for their allstar cheer squads. He said that I shouldn't try out for school this year because I know I am going to make jv and I don't want to do that. So he talked to my mom & she said that it would be difficult & I should do school (because of money & time), but isn't it just a waste of time to do school when I really would rather gouge my eyes out than do another year of jv. Plus, allstars are about $1000 and school cheer is around $600+. That's not so far off. Idk what to do. I really want to do allstars, but idk if I should ask her again. Am I being selfish?
