  • Can I view HD channels on an SDTV?

    I am going to get a DVR which includes HDTV, which means that I will have access to HD channels for free without paying for their regular versions (such as HBO and the Movie Network). I know I won't be able to view them in HD quality, but am wondering if I will be able to view them at all on my regular TV. I have looked in various message boards and see people saying both yes and no, so if anyone has personal experience could you please answer? Don't answer if you don't know.
