Since the BCS is the worst system in determining a National Champion...what has been better?
Note: there has never been a playoff in Major College Football. So playoff isn't an answer. So if the BCS is the worst, what in the past has been better? just wondering.....
4 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoIs watching soccer really a left/right issue to anyone?
NewsBusters is running a story claiming that people who like soccer are leftist in nature. And that only true red-blooded Americans (i.e. the Right) hate soccer for National reasons. Are they serious? The author seems to imply that no one is watching it, but the (liberal) media keeps publicizing it. If the Super Bowl had 106 million people watching it....doesn't that mean that 200 milllion+ people DIDN'T watch the game. Does that mean they shouldn't promote it?? Your thoughts....
the story is here:<http://newsbusters.org/blogs/matthew-philbin/2010/...

2 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agohas anyone watched, "The Obama Deception"? What did you think?
Is our government really run this way. if so, why do we attack each other to the sakes of corporation control. Is the Health Care debate just corporations choosing sides and then having "us" the people attack each other until a victor is chosen??
if you want to watch it is here on YouTube!!
11 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoshould there be a Dolan Rule in baseball like the Stepien Rule in basketball?
there is the "Stepien Rule," which states that a team cannot trade its first-round pick in consecutive years. Should there be a "Dolan Rule" that states you can't trade away Cy Young Award winners in Back-To-Back seasons without receiving a major leaguer in return?

47 AnswersElections1 decade agoAnd now to add more on the circus Tonight....?
The KKK is going to be at the debate tonight. I didn't really think about it, but Ole Miss has been seen as racial charged for years and having it's first national debate there with the first African-American Presidential hopeful there seemed like a good way of showing the nation that Ole Miss is moving forward. Do you think that the KKK presence will diminish that?

4 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoYour Opinion about Hillary's name being added to the nominations at the DNC.?
Do you think this will divide the Democratic party of unifiy it? Is Hillary and her supporters trying to "back door" a nomination for president? Or at least weaken Obama so Hillary can run in 2012. Your thoughts about what will play out in Denver in a few weeks.
18 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat do you think of the USA Today Poll that was released today? Georgia is Number 1!!
Looking at the top five NOW....The winner of USC/Ohio State could play the winner of Georgia/Florida in the BCS Title game. Any slip ups in those four teams would put Oklahoma in the Title game....any thoughts BEFORE we get started. (Note: just looking at the Top 5, not any school beyond that!)
A side note here: When teams lose they WILL move DOWN in the POLL(S) and when teams WIN they move UP in the POLL(S)....If everyone wins, everyone stays where they are. Got it sports fans!!
