Random babies showing up in Sims 4?
So, I have a same sex couple - one of them has a sister who just had twins.
As soon as the twins became children, three random babies spawned in the household with the gay couple's surname.
They hadn't shown any interest in becoming parents and (to my knowledge) hadn't contacted an adoption agency.
The babies just appeared out of nowhere. They aren't alien babies either.
After some googling, I deleted these little abominations and resumed play as normal.
Booted up the game some time later and three brand new babies have taken the place of the deleted trio.
If someone can help me figure out how to stop these kids appearing, I'd be very grateful!
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games6 years agoIs it strange to believe my eventual death will be suicide?
Whilst I am emotionally stable currently, I ve been considered a suicide risk for the last two years straight.
It s been a long road of various medicines, many relapses and therapies, but deep down, I know one day I m just going to not care enough to fight the desire to end my own life and that will be the end.
I don t particularly want to die, that s never been the case.
But I ve never been happy. And whilst I d very much like to think I ll die in a warm bed surrounded by loved ones after a rich, fulfilling life, I just cannot process that outcome ever happening.
As I said, I m feeling emotionally stable - for now at least.
I ve no desire to self harm or make any attempts at the moment.
I just want to know if other people who have experienced suicidal tendencies feel similarly and if perhaps there is any chance of becoming better on a more permanent level.
I don t enjoy feeling like this.
2 AnswersMental Health6 years agoShould I still be hurting a month after a Wisdom tooth extraction?
A few weeks ago, I had an upper Wisdom tooth extraction.
It was a complicated procedure and the tooth needed to be fragmented to remove.
As a result, there are still shards of tooth embedded in there that couldn't be removed surgically, and I was told they'd eject themselves on their own.
It's getting close to a month now, stitches are out, I keep the socket clean and it's closing slowly but surely - but it hurts like hell!
It's super sensitive to hot and cold - I figure that's because my socket is still open - and there is just this constant ache that I can't ignore, and I'm wondering if that's due to the shards working their way out?
I just want to know if this is normal before I go pestering my dentist!
Thank you!
2 AnswersDental7 years agoBack Pain - any idea what it might be?
About ten or so days ago I had a minor operation on my ankle and was told to keep off it for a week or so whilst it healed.
I spent most of it sitting, working from my laptop.
As soon the wound closed and I felt fit to move again, the back pain started - around the tail bone- a dull ache at first but now it's a white hot pain that rips through the length of my spine if I move / sit / lie a certain way.
I tried ignoring it at first, figuring some activity might help, but the pain just about drops me if I try to walk.
Sitting and sleeping with a small pillow tucked under my hip makes things a bit more bearable, if that's any indication of anything.
Visiting my Doctor's not an option as she's not available at weekends unless in case of emergency which I don't think this qualifies as.
I'm figuring it's probably a result of sitting for a week when I'm normally quite active but if anyone can provide any insight as to what might have happened and how I can get back to normal, I'd be really grateful.
Thank you
1 AnswerPain & Pain Management7 years agoDieting and working out, but jeans are tighter?
Since early January I've been heading to the gym every second day, doing 20 minutes of intense cardio followed by 20-30 minutes of small weight training and stretches.
My Diet's been changed drastically, having cut all sodas and carbonated drinks out, been watching my sugar intake, junk food and cakes have been turned into rare treats and I've been drinking water like it's my job.
Inch loss so far has been minimal, but there have been differences, the taper in my waist is smaller, my arms and legs are beginning to show some definition, but not a single pair of jeans in my closet will fit me properly anymore! Most of them can't be worn at all.
Even my baggiest jeans put up a fight, and I cant for the life of my figure out why!
The Gym instructor mentions it might be muscle developing beneath the fat, and the fat will whittle itself away in the oncoming weeks, whilst my Doctor thinks I might not be keeping as close an eye on my food as I think I am.
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated, I'd just like to know if this sort of thing is normal when it comes to losing weight and any tips on how to deal with this problem?
Thank you!
5 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agoWhat is the name of this Movie?
I beleive it's Italian and set during WW2.
The story involves an Italian prisoner in a Concentration Camp who managed to smuggle his young son into the Camp with him and throughout the course of the Film tries his damndest to protect him from the horrors of the camp, and hidden from the Nazis by telling him that they are playing a massive game of hide and seek and the winner gets a Tank.
It ends with the Father ultimatly sacrificing himself for his son's safety and the son wakes up to be rescued by an American Soldier who lets him ride the Tank with him, thus leading him to beleive he has won this game without realizing his Father died to keep him safe.
I can't for the life of me remember what this film's called and I'd really love to watch it again.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!
3 AnswersMovies1 decade agoQuestions on US Health Insurance?
I live in the UK where we have the NHS, therefore have never had any reason to worry about medical costs hence my lack of understanding on this matter.
My creative writing classes have my current project stimuli involving a scene in a hospital based in New York, and the results I'm getting from internet research aren't really helpful.
So I'd like to ask the following:
Say someone is gravely injured or very ill, but does not have medical insurance. Are they left to die or does it depend on the severity of their situation or what?
Would it be possible to use one's own insurance to pay the medical expenses of someone else?
What happens after short term care in the case of an emergency?
Any help would be very appreciated.
1 AnswerOther - General Health Care1 decade agoWhy is the weight not coming off?
Ok, here's the deal.
I'm 5'3, and 10 stone. I'm not overweight, but I'm flabby, and so am looking to flatten my stomach, arms and legs and maybe turn that 10 stone down to a 9.
I've been on a regime for about 3 weeks now.
My diet has changed from frozen pizza's, cans of coke, ice cream etc to fresh fish, rice, fruits and I've started drinking plenty of water, replacing all carbonated drinks.
Before work, I do 30 mins of cardio exercises, and my work pretty much has me walking and running non stop for two 4-hour shifts.
I'm not expecting drastic results, but so far I've not lost so much as a pound, nor have I lost anything in terms of mass. I would have expected even a tiny difference by now, but so far, nothing.
I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong here. I know I've not been at it very long, but after 3 weeks, I'd have expected at least a slight change.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
16 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoHow can I fix things with him?
My partner and I have been together for over four years (both in our first serious relationships), and aside from the very rare fights we've always got on amazingly well. Our friends have even said we're made for each other and for the most part, everything in our relationship went swimmingly.
But very recently, and very suddenly - virtually overnight, things have changed, and I began to feel very distant from him. Didn't want to be affectionate or intimate and I don't know why.
We've also started fighting a LOT. Sometimes it's over a serous issue, but for the most part it's over ridiculous little things that don't even begin to merit arguments. Yesterday for example, a fight started over a pair of nail clippers.
At the end of every fight, we always hug and try to make up, but it always happens again, and it's become a real concern.
Our friends are putting it down to stress, as I've been desperately trying to get a new job before the company I'm working with goes bust, and him having some very recent trouble with his mother who is currently mentally ill.
Neither of us are cheating on the other, of that I'm 100%, and we both really want to fix things and go back to the way things where but we just don't know how. I still love him and don't want to leave him but I don't know where to begin when it comes to fixing things here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoEdible Blood for a halloween party?
With Halloween coming up, parties are inevitable, and I have this year been given the responsibility of coming up with refreshments.
I figured blood is always a good halloween theme to go with and was wondering if anyone had any recipes for drinkable fake blood that could be served?
I've looked at a lot of online tutorials but all of them, regrettably are practically liquid sugar with red colouring.
Does anyone have a healthier, and preferably non-alcoholic recipe for realistic looking, drinkable blood?
Thank you.
7 AnswersHalloween1 decade agoWould this be unfair dismissal?
I recently started work in a gambling establishment, along with two other new employees. We're on our 6 month probationary period.
However, as we started, money began to go missing from the safes, and a couple of staff's personal items vanished too.
We've heard rumours (smalltalk amongst staff) that - as they don't know who it is and none of the thefts seemed to have been caught on camera, all three of us will be dismissed. Given the thefts started as we arrived, it's only natural the finger be pointed at us.
If I am fired for this, would I be able to take it furhter, not having stoeln anything?
My Father says it would be unfair dismissal and I would be able to take legal action if I am fired.
My boyfriend however, tells me that as I'm on probationary period, they regrettably don't need to have a reason to let me go as long as it's not a decision based on hate.
I don't know if I'm going to lose my job or not, in the event that I do, would I be able to take action?
5 AnswersLaw & Legal1 decade agoCould This be Cancer?
The last few months, I've noticed pains in my right breast, in particular when pressure is applied - like if I lie on my stomach at night or if I'm in a cramped, tight space.
The nipple of said breast also tends to crease and wrinkle when errect. The other nipple does not which is making me wonder if this is worth being concerned over.
There are no lumps that I've been able to locate.
I'm asking this because I happen to be quite far away from my local doctor.
I AM however near a large hospital, which would probably check for me however if it turns out be nothing I don't want to have wasted their time when someone with an actual ailment could have been getting seen to.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

2 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoMy sister has a bug - how can I help her?
This morning my sister got up, ran to the bathroom, locked herself in and won't come out, and all we can hear is her heaving and crying that she's in pain.
She's been in there for an hour straight now, and the vomiting (or dry heaving as it's now become) has not stopped. It's been continual, every few moments we can hear her again.
I'd like to ask if there is anything we can give her that can ease her pain or even help this pass quickly for her.
Currently, she's refusing any help at all and we haven't been forcing any on her, though I have encouraged her to at least take sips of water.
I've been told yogurts and drinks such as Yakult can help, but I'm a little skeptical.
I'd also like to know if there is any steps we can take other than common sense of good personal hygiene, to help prevent this from traveling to other family members.
My Brother who lives with my mother had a bug last week, so it's probable she caught it from him whilst visiting,
Given I've been sharing a room with my sister, I'm kind of expecting now to come down with this myself (yay....) though if anyone has any tips on how to avoid it or at least make it as come and go as quickly as possible, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
3 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoRegarding Downloadable content on Xbox 360?
For the last year or so, I've been playing the xbox at my boyfriends place.
Last week, I bought my own, transferred my gamertag and thus far, everything has been fine.
This morning, my boyfriend transferred his gamertag and went on to download additional content for some of the games I'd bought. All content he'd downloaded before was content he'd bought previously on his own console.
Yet they don't work whilst playing on my own gamertag.
At any given time I'd played at my boyfriends house - I was always able to play on my gamertag and use the content he'd downloaded - so why isn't it doing the same for me?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
3 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoVampiric Reproduction? (NOT Twilight related)?
Firstly - please, no answers in regards to Twilight Vampires as I don't consider the abominations described in those books to BE Vampires at all.
Anyhoo:
The subject of Vampiric sexual reproduction came into debate amongst my friends and I this morning, (One of us writing an annotation report on Bram Stokers "Dracula" for college) and we couldnt really come to a conclusion.
Understanding that Vampires are essentially the walking dead, we agreed that it would be impossible for them to produce sperm and eggs of which to create life, which brought us to think that as Vampires are essentially bringers of death, it would go against their nature to "create" life.
Having said that, certain mythologies told of Vampire males who would mate with human women, leaving them to produce half-vampiric spawn which became popular belief what with such movies as "Blade"
We understand Vampires aren't real, we just wanted to see what other people thought on the subject.
Thanking you.
16 AnswersMythology & Folklore1 decade agoText won't work in Photoshop CS2?
I've been a user of photoshop for years and just recently, have been unable to get text to show.
When I try to type on the file, all I see is a small dot. The text appears on the layer title, but not on the actual image.
I've resized the text, made sure the text is not the same colour as the background, I've tried changing the resolution, but nothing works. All I see is the dot.
I read in a forum that this is caused by Adobe Acrobat Reader and the only way to fix it is to uninstall Photoshop, install Reader 7, then reinstall photoshop.
I'd really like to find an alternate fix to this problem, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you!
1 AnswerProgramming & Design1 decade agoI think Twilight sucks - what are you going to do about it?
I don't have a problem with fans of Twilight.
I don't. Fans of Twilight who love the series and can accept that other people will hate it, not forcing their fandom down other people's throats - They rule.
I DO however have a problem with the ridiculously immature screaming bratty fantards who hurl abuse at anyone who dares say anything negative about Twilight.
I think Twilight sucks and Stephanie Meyer is a talentless hack - does that make me a b*tch? A wh*re?
Just because I decided I didn't like a book series?
You know, I have friends who love the books - it's why I read them all myself, and they don't care that I don't like it. Sure, I tease them a little about it jokingly, but they have never insulted me or treated me in such a way that Twilight fantards do.
So tell me - why are you all so quick to judge a person's character based on their deserved opinion of a book series?
"You dont like it, don't comment about it!!" -
Why not? We have to put up with your rantings about who great it is, why aren't we allowed to do the same? Does Freedom of Speech not apply here?
"You're so immature!!"
Why? For making fun of something? Are comedians immature for making fun of situations and people? It's you people who get pissy over it that make it a bigger issue than it needs to be. If you can't laugh at your own fandom, you can't really call yourself a fan.
I'm not telling people to hate the books or the movie - you have the right to love it, but you also have the right to hate it.
Stop abusing people who show dislike, accept that not everyone likes what you like - and let it go! Don't hurl abuse at them - that is immature and uncalled for!
Agree to disagree!
16 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoCan my XBox Live subscription be used on more than one console?
Without going into too much detail, my living arrangements alternate very frequently between two households, both of which own an xbox360.
I'm aware of the ability to retrieve gamer tags, as I've been doing this in order to play - but I've just been given a subscription.
When I retrieve gamer tags, will my subscription details come with it granted there is access to a connection? Or is it limited to the console it is registered on?

2 AnswersXbox1 decade agoTips for fighting Flab?
I'm a young woman of 5'3 and a weight of 10 stone (140lbs)
Ideally I'd like to shift some of that weight (preferably to 8 or 9 stone).
I feel most of it is in my flab. I'm not fat - but I'm very flabby and it is Absolutely crippling my self-confidence.
I've started going to the gym, my routine is generally 10 minutes cycling, 25 minutes on the treadmill, and the rest is spent with exercises such as sit-ups, crunches and mild weight-lifting, a couple of minutes spent on each.
My diet however is, less than healthy. Two meals a day if I'm lucky (out of general business than reluctance) and I tend to overindulge on the cola a little - a bad habit I'm trying to kick.
I'd like to lose some weight fairly quickly - before march as an Absolute latest goal, though if possible I'd like to lose it by christmas
Am I trying too hard here, overdoing it? And if anyone could please offer me some tips or advice for loosing weight it would be much appreciated.
Thank you very much
