I’m 22 years old and I have never had a girlfriend. I’m super shy and introverted. If I see a pretty girl smiling at me in public I look away and think to myself, “I don’t have even have a chance”. I have asked out girls in the past but things never got past the “asking step”. I don’t know what’s wrong because it seems girls don’t see that I exist. I have a sense of humor. I’m very smart and I’m getting my degree soon. I’m honest and I’m not afraid to speak my mind. I also don’t have many friends. The friends I do have seem to be too busy to do anything (I go to a commuter school). I spend most of my time at home either studying or playing my guitar

I'm going to be graduating soon and I have come to realize that I have made it through high school and college without ever having a girlfriend. For once in my life I would like to experience love. I'm not the player type (obviously). I'm more of your typical nice guy who is constantly overlooked by women. I'm shy at first with strangers but I easily open up and become very outgoing. I have a sense of humor and enjoy having a good laugh. I'm also considered to be very smart and I am very goal oriented but it seems girls are not interested in me. Any advice for me?

I want to let her know I'm interested in more than just friendship. I need some advice on determining if she likes me and if she does like me, is she waiting for me to make the next move?

This girl has really been confusing me. At times I'm convinced she likes me (during a prior conversation she blew a kiss at me). At other times, I'm not so convinced. She keeps giving me mixed signals. I don't know what to do anymore. Should I call her during the break to see how she is doing or should I just move on? Thanks.

Well, I’ve never had a girlfriend but I have actually tried in the past but with no luck. Every time I try to get close to a girl, the girl ends up hurting me before getting to the boyfriend/girlfriend stage. One girl I tried to pursue led me on for a while, then one day told me she could never love someone like me, that I was a pathetic loser, etc, etc. After this I didn’t try to talk to any girl for 3 years(romantically). The girl before this one, we were friends first but it soon started to become something more and we actually got to the point where we made out but after that she ran off with another guy. I'm 21 now and the current girl I have been talking to turned out to be the same as the other two. She would just tease and flirt with me but would never take me seriously.I asked her out but she never gave me a definite answer (her way of rejecting me and I realized she was just playing games and is no longer worth my time and efforts).I guess I must be cursed with women.I don't understand how it is so easy for some guys to find a girlfriend while it seems impossible for me. Its hard for me to meet girls since I am in a major dominated by guys and I don't just fall for anyone.I have been told I'm not bad looking.I'm funny,intelligent, witty, honest, and have always been a gentleman with women.
