Okay so I am a terrible public speaker, in fact I decided to make a speech to myself about my summer vacation and couldn't even come up with a few sentences that made sense. My mom wants me to join Toastmasters, a public speaking club, but I am terrified and sweaty just thinking about it. I am 100% sure I'm going to badly embarrass myself. I can just never come up with words that make sense when put on the spot. I literally feel like crying just thinking about joining it. Is there any way I could improve on this by myself? Has anyone ever joined toastmasters before?

Do you think toastmasters is too extreme for me, should I start with something smaller?

So I'm 15 years old, going into grade 11 this year. I am looking for a new laptop and have done some research, and I am interested in the Macbook Pro 13". with retina. Money is not a problem, I will be paying for it all because I have a part time job, but I was debating whether it is really worth it.

I do not do much on my laptop other than browsing the internet, word, powerpoint, etc which you would have to buy it in the mac version right? which would add even more to the cost

The only gaming I really do is league of legends

So I guess what I'm looking for is Macbook users! Do you love your laptop? Is it worth getting? I have an iPhone 4s if that helps.

And other people... what laptop would you recommend for me if not the Macbook Pro? I would like anything that is light and doesn't burn my lap off! ^_^

To be honest... I just need to rant somewhere. My family does not seem to care about my problems when I always listen to theirs. Anyways....

Today, I got 53% on both my Math and Chemistry TEST. I have never gotten so bad in my entire life. It is even worse because I am a straight A student, and am in Grade 10 (15 years old)

My Math test dropped me down 10%... down to 83%. Yes, I know it is not that bad, but I am very upset it is a B! I only have 2 quizzes and 1 test left to make up for it.

My Chem test.... who knows how far I dropped. I'm assuming in the 60s.. I blame myself and my teacher for this because honestly, she does not teach at all. I have to learn Chemistry 11 through YouTube videos. Pretty much everyone in her class is getting a C.

I'm bawling my eyes out as I type this, I just put so much pressure on myself to do really well!

Life has been stressful, I've gotten hired at McDonalds in October and honestly, it's the worse. I am the youngest worker there and some of the people there are real bullies. I will admit I'm not the greatest at my job. I don't even get a weekend to relax when there's no school because I work 6am-2pm on both Saturdays and Sundays. I teach piano after work on both Saturdays and Sundays. It leaves me barely any time to do homework and study.

Sometimes I consider suicide, though I know i would never do it. I know it's ridiculous!!

Well, I'm one of those typical girls, and sometimes random guys say hi to me, just to see my reaction I guess. I mean I'm not THAT shy, just quiet.

So y'know, I say hi back and they snicker and laugh! What am I supposed to say? I don't know, maybe I don't much confidence in my voice or something. But I know it's not the way I say it.

But I find this happens A LOT. I have no idea why. Guy says hi. I say hi. He snickers with his friends and walk away. I feel embarrassed.

Anyone have a clue what's going on? What am I supposed to say? lol

Btw, I'm turning 15 in a few months, going into grade 10

Okay, so my grade 8 RCM piano exam is in a week, and I feel completely unprepared. I always stumble on my scales, dominant 7ths, arpeggios, EVERYTHING! I am always unsure of all the notes and what I'm playing. I am not confident at all with my pieces too. I always stumble on all the pieces and have to start again and it's just soso frustrating! I hardly got any dynamics and I have horrible stage fright so I'm going to mess up for sure. Whenever I play in front of somebody, I play completely different than in practice in a bad way. I'm so nervous I can't even think straight. My sight reading is horrible too and the only thing I'm descent at is intervals. All the rest is BAD BAD BAD. I am so frustrated I've been crying everyday for the past month, I put so much pressure on myself. It has gotten really bad. I've even thought about suicide. I know it's really really really stupid I don't even know why I think that way. It's not just about piano though, things have been building up to make me think this way, but piano is not helping. I have 4 final exams next week and have to study for those because I pretty much forget almost everything.

I feel so stressed and worried. HELPP :(
