When I open my Photoshop-created pdf in Illustrator so that I can convert the text to outlines, some of the color at the top of the text gets cut off. The full outline of the original text is still there, just part of the color dropped out. When I save the file after converting to outlines, the cut off part still shows up in the newer version of the pdf, so that eliminates the possibility of a glitch when viewing in Illustrator.

Has this ever happened to anyone and do you know a way to fix it? Thanks!

Especially in mediums that don't support hash tag searches, like Facebook?! It's so goddamn annoying.

I have two friends who post like, 30+ hash tags after every instagram photo that they upload. Some of them don't even relate to the effing picture. Why waste the time to do that? Every picture posted must take like 20 minutes, including editing, filtering, and hash tagging. Oh, and tagging friends in the photo too. Who has that kind of time?

What's the point?

I'm spending New Year's at home, possibly with my roommates, possibly by myself until my boyfriend gets off work at 10pm. I plan on dressing up, cooking myself dinner, and getting ****-faced drunk. I am pretty handy in the kitchen, I made a really great pot roast last week. I don't have a lot of money to spend, maybe $20 on groceries for the whole meal. I want to make something a little up-scale, fancy, but delicious. Something with Chicken as the main meat would probably be nice. Any ideas?

What's the last time I can purchase a ticket for the drawing tonight?

Over the past 2 years I have increased my credit score by 200 points by just paying off debts and collections. Now I only have my school loans left to pay off, but it still shows as having 5 active accounts on my credit report, which I read could still show as a bad thing. I have no credit cards, car loans, or real estate accounts. I've been afraid to get a credit card because of the trouble I got myself in when I was 18-22. Should I just bite the bullet and get a credit card as long as I promise to pay it off monthly? Will that quickly raise my credit score? Are there any other options?

I mainly use my laptop to watch movies on Netflix and Hulu, but recently I can't watch anything without it being choppy. It's been getting progressively worse over the last couple months. I thought it might just be overheating and that a cooling pad would help, which it did - for about two days. Could it be something to do with my graphics card or something like that? I don't think it has anything to do with buffering from the website. Everything else seems to be working perfectly except this issue! What can I do to fix it?

It's a Dell Inspiron 1546 running Windows 7 and an AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core processor. It's only a year and a half old.

We've been dating for a little over 6 months and he is very picky about gifts. For christmas I gave him a new hat with the logo of his favorite football team on it (which he never wears because "it's not as worn in and comfortable as his old one") and Inception on DVD (which he returned because his sister got him the same one). Apparently I'm lame at giving gifts.

In return, he gave me a Michael Kors jacket and a gorgeous $225 necklace from Tiffany's....Yeah. How the hell am I supposed to top that??!

I know it's just a silly Hallmark holiday, but I'm really excited about this relationship and I want to show my appreciation. Maybe I should just go lingerie shopping and give him a show?

I only have a CD-Rom drive on my computer and the program that I am trying to load is on a DVD-rom disc, therefore my drive won't read it. I have another computer in the room with a CD/DVD-Rom drive. Is it possible to use that drive on that computer to remotely load the program onto my computer?

The only other option I can think of is to get an external DVD-Rom drive and load it that way, but I'd really rather not buy one if I don't have to.
