  • Best way to make money online, with something that interests me?

I'm in a special situation where I can't handle traditional work, but have the desire to work. Any amount of money is great, I don't care how much, as long as it isn't something painfully tedious. There's a lot of opportunities out there, but I don't know which websites to trust really.

I'd love to test video games ideally, even if it's a minescule amount of money, but often times there's an experience level required.

Other than that, testing websites, or reviewing content, or even just simple as spell checking things for a penny. Anything.

  • Fancy goldfish not doing well randomly?

I got my first fancy goldfish in May. He never had any issues, EVER. Perfectly healthy and happy all of the time. Up until this past week, where he had started sitting on the bottom of the tank on his side for a while, occasionally floating upwards, and eventually passed away before I could figure out what exactly was the issue. I had gotten another fancy goldfish in late January, and today I noticed he's showing the same signs as my other one had.

Main things: checked water, everything came back fine. Yes I condition the water, have a filter, have a heater with the water temperature at around 72 degrees. Yes, I use aquarium salt and let the tank cycle. I give the fish 1 pea per fish per week, and a tiny tiny bit of blood worms once every 2-4 weeks. The tank itself is 29gallons. Water change once to twice a week, about a third of the water each time. Siphon the gravel once a week.

What's going on, and how can I help my goldfish from reaching the same demise as the first?

  • What kind of computer should I buy for gaming?

Nowadays my HP computer just isn t cutting it. It s old, falling apart, and can barely run any modern games. I m looking for a PRE-BUILT gaming PC. One that not only looks cool, but can run any game on ultra settings without compromising on framerate. It also needs enough space to have several games installed. As far as looks go, I m really not picky. Black, green, or blue are good colors I suppose. Is there any computer specifically that you d recommend? If not, what should I look for in a PC?

  • How do I make this into a legitimate, professional logo?

I'm starting a new company in the next month or so: Inferno Gaming Corporation. For the time being, it's just me making the games (which for now are stuck as moderate effort free apps). I can't exactly afford to pay someone to create a logo for me at the moment, but I need SOMETHING for the start of the company. I drew out a general idea, but it's unpolished and doesn't even look like much of a logo. I've never made a logo before, so bear with me. Where do I go from here, how can I improve it, and are there any techniques I should know?

  • If I download a photo from the internet, will it reduce its quality?

I need to transfer some photos from one computer to another with no good way to do so. The computer the files are on doesn't have its power cord, so that's out of the question. I do however have the files on my Deviantart account, but I've heard that downloading your own files off the internet will have less quality then if I put them on a flash drive and moved them that way. Is that true?

  • Anime intro songs?

Are there "full" versions of some anime intro songs for shows like: Sword Art Online, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan, etc?

I want to put some on my iPod, but not all of the intro songs have full versions.

What's the next step from here? (Digital drawing)?

I have never tried freehand drawing using Adobe Illustrator before, I usually only use the pen tool. So last night, I finally tried it. I attached it to the post. What's the next step from here? I get that the next step is coloring, but how do I go about that/what's the easiest way?

  • How do you start with Digital Art?

It sounds stupid, I'm sure...but I am pursuing digital art as a career. Illustration using Photoshop and Illustrator is my focus, I guess. I have no idea what I'm doing or where to start. I feel like I'm fumbling around using the programs. I want to learn a little before I start my college classes, so that I can make a good impression. How does one start practicing digital art? I've watched countless videos and have read numerous articles... It just doesn't help me. Is there some magical way to help a person start dabbling with digital art? Or some sample photos that should be good practice for a beginner to illustrate to get used to the settings and what not?

What are some tips you have?

  • How would I photoshop this?

I'm clumsy with Photoshop. I took a fun little photo today, well two actually... One has the subject in focus, the other has the background in focus. The subject is slightly misplaced from one photo to the other... I tried to photoshop it but it looked awful. help???

    Here's the two photos: http://imgur.com/a/jJbeK

The top photo is the one I would like to have as the background (the rainy window and the surface the glass dish is placed on)

And I would only keep the dish from the bottom image.

What do you think? I tried making several duplicates of the top image and tried to get it right... Couldn't do it.

  • Photography comments and criticism?

Okay, I keep seeing people begging around for attention or some constructive criticism, and at first I thought it was kind of a stupid idea. But, I realized that a little feedback would be a great thing to (hopefully) get me interested in photography again. By feedback, I don't mean "oh my gawd guyssss!! tell me how completely amazing I am!!" Haha, no. Be brutally honest. I don't have much practice in the wonderful world of photography, and I tend to get a bit frustrated with it and quit. I love it to death, so I'm hoping that you guys will help me improve. I'll post a few sites where you can find some of my work. Click on whichever ones are more convenient for you to view. Note: some sites have more photos than others.

    Viewbug: http://www.viewbug.com/member/nightrose0087

    Deviantart: http://nightrose0087.deviantart.com/gallery/

    Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LaurenGalantyPhotography

You should be able to use one of those 3 websites. Deviantart has the most of my work because I've been using it since before I even got a camera. Some of the work will definitely be pretty low quality if they're old (AKA prior to 2012 I'd say)

  • Creative people: help me think of what to do for my first digital art piece?

Okay, I'm going into a "digital arts" type major this fall. Incoming students MUST submit a self portrait done in either Photoshop or Illustrator. It has to be creative, and it sets the tone for the entire year. I'm not entirely comfortable with Adobe products, so that makes things difficult. To make matters worse, I hate my ideas. Yep, hate them. I was going to incorporate World of Warcraft into it, because my world revolves around that damn game, right? Yeah, that didn't work out too well. Let's just say my blood elf looked more like a muppet. Anyway, I guess I'll tell you a bit about myself, and you guys can help me brainstorm. I'm a huge gamer. I love old arcade games, old nintendo games (N64 and Gamecube), I love sonic the hedgehog... I'm a cat person. My favorite flower is a rose. I am female. I love writing and reading. Music is of course a passion of mine. I am obsessed with movies (especially horror), my favorite types of music are rock and metal, my favorite animal is a red panda, I am addicted to coffee, I'm a silent kind of person, located in Chicago, my favorite artist is Banksy, I love Star Wars... I don't know what else there is. I like fishing. Photography is the love of my life. I'm a traveller. I'm crazy. I love kid's movies too. And I adore anime.

I would prefer to draw something using illustrator, but as I said my skills using that program are non-existent.

You now know everything about me. So... any ideas?
