I've heard bits and pieces of autism. My son is only seven months old, but he seems to be showing signs of it. Please give me more information on what it is and how it happened.

I didn't smoke, drink, do drugs or anything during my pregnancy. I was completely cautious. I would ask my pediatrician but he doesn't have another appointment for a month or two. I don't want to schedule an appointment if nothing is wrong. ALSO if it isn't autism is there anything related to that i should know of.??

My son is six months old, and he can barely roll over either way. He only sits supported and when he does sit supported he body jerks in different directions. Actually, it's kind of hard to explain the jerking, but it's weird. My daughter is 18 months old and I don't remember her doing the same thing. She was a late bloomer, too, though. She didn't walk until almost 16 months. Is there something wrong?
