I have a bunch (an enclosed car trailer full) of Nascar collectibles pre-1985 and was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a price guide so I can find out how much they are worth. I was thinking of selling them on e-bay but I don't want to sell stuff too cheap. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am going on my yearly gambling trip and another person on answers suggested I go to Cripple Creek Colorado. If you have ever been then what do you think about it? Where is the best place to stay (3-4 women going)? What do you think about thier casinos? If you did not like it then where should I go? (not vegas)

A few of my friends and I are planning a trip for next year. We were dead set on going to Biloxi, but then I was reading on line reviews and a lot of people said that the casinos were tight due to Katrina. So now we are thinking about Atlantic City. We went to Vegas last year with not much luck. We have never been to AC or Biloxi. So what does everyone think?

ok I listed a truck on e-bay and it met reserve (within the last few seconds of auction) The buyer has not paid and I sent him a e-mail stating that I need to hear from him in 48 hrs. The 48 hrs are up and I want to report him and relist my truck. E-bay says I have to wait 7 days to report him as a non paying bidder (so I can get my $50 final value fee back and relist for free) So my question is do I have to wait 7 days before I can relist the item? I really need to sell the truck! Thanks

ok I have been reading the questions for about a week now and many people ask about good places to stay. I never hear anything about Harrah's. Is it a nice place to stay? It looks like it is in the middle of the strip. Please let me know because since I visit thier casino in North Carolina I am able to get a room for $55. Is that a good deal or could I find better?

I am going to be in the LA area for a week this summer and it is my first time there. I was just wondering if I should visit Disneyland. I live on the east coast and have been to Disneyworld several times and I am planning on taking my daughter to Orlando this fall. She will not be with me in LA :( So I don't know if I should go or just spend my time somewhere else.

What does everyone think and what else is a must do in LA?

I will be in LA for a week in Aug. and wanted to drive to Tijuana one day. Is it worth going? Is it safe to visit in the daytime (3 women going)? Do you have to have a passport to go? And how long does it take to drive there? Thanks

This happened in a small town near where I live. A bus driver was taking kids home from school when she smelled pot. She stopped the bus and asked them to confess. No one would. So she sat back in her seat and drove to the police station where they searched everyone on the bus. They found 3 knives, the pot, cigarettes, and lighters. Now some of the girls, who are about 12 years old, are saying that their rights were violated. Their parents are really upset about it. How would you feel if this was your child?

My daughter is an only child and I will admit that she is spoiled rotten. It has taken me a long time to spank her b/c it really is painful for me. I try not to spank her in public because of the looks people may give and comments they may make. Anyway, she is very independent, she wants to do everything herself and she does not want to hold my hand when we are out somewhere. (she hates a stroller also) Yesterday we were leaving the mall ( I normally rest my hand on the back of her head, kind of pushing her, when we are walking) We had not made it out to the parking lot yet and were still on the sidewalk when she jolted out into the road and a car almost hit her! I was so upset I spanked her right then and I was in tears because it scared me so bad. Other than that she always walks away from me in the store or hides under the clothes so I am constantlly calling her. So my question is to all the veteran moms, how do you control your children in public?

Ok I live in the coastal area of SC and have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I am looking for a place to go on vaction. My husband will not fly so it needs to be in driving distance. Also my daughter is scared of the waves at the beach so that is out of the question and we have been to Gatlinburg several times we are only going there again as a last resort. Can you please help?

My husband and I both work for my dad. I only work part time and have only been there about a year. My husband has worked for my dad for 15 years. He has been treated quite badly at times, he will get promotions and then demoted within the next year. My dad is extra hard on him because he does not want anyone thinking he is giving him a "free ride". Recently they had to let an employee of 35 years go due to drugs. Well that has caused a lot of drama around the office. Ex emloyee is telling dad lies and dad is calling hubby a liar. Hubby wants to find another job but I know if he quits my dad will say that he does not need me anymore either. DH does not have a high school diploma and makes pretty good money. On top of that he has a company phone, car maint., and a gas card. Is is worth putting up with the crap or should he go find another job and risk me losing my job and having to take a cut in pay?

My daughter is 2 1/2 yrs old and I am having trouble potty training her. The sitter was letting her wear pull ups but I think she never encouraged her to go to the bathroom. Now she refuses to wear pull ups or big girl panties. She knows when she has to potty and knows where to potty. She has gone in her little potty before but now all she wants is to wear a diaper. If I try to put a pull up or panties on her she screams and throws a fit. Any advice from other moms would be great!
