  • Possible Ruptured Eardrum?

ok, so long story short. I was listening to music on my ipod with headphones, and the music was quite loud. After i finished listening to the music, my left ear is ringing and my right ear is fine. I can still hear out of my left ear and there is no pain, but it hasnt seemed to come out of the ringing stage. Is this something I should be worried about? My ear has been ringing for about 45 minuets now and im starting to worry. Will it go away by morning or by itself?

  • Troble Breathing? Could It Be Anxiety?

I've been having trouble breathing lately. I woke up last night at around 4:30a.m. and it felt like i had a semi parked on my chest. It hurt so bad. I took some medication and it eased the pain a little bit. The day before this happened, nothing was wrong, i could breath fine. But my dad says that I'm worried because i am flying for the first time in 2 weeks and i have never flown before, He thinks i have an anxiety problem which is contributing to my difficulty breathing. Could this be the case? And what can i do other than going to the doctor to help me relieve this pain?

  • I Get Excited And Nervous When I Fly?

The feeling is indescribable. I mean, I've never flown before and i fear of making a mistake while going through the process. Is there anything i can do to help me ease the stress of flying, other than not thinking about it? Trust me, that does not work.

  • Why Does My Stepmother Always Disapprove Of My Choices?

I am going to see my mother who lives in Summerland, BC and my dad's fiance, does not approve. Thing is, my dad is divorced and there is joint custody between him and my mother. The flight is already booked. How do i get her off my back. She has already lectured me 3 times today, and we booked the ticket today. How do i tell her to basically, shut up? I'm leaving to see my mom on June 23rd, so i only have 3 weeks to go. If she continues, i fell like I'm going to kill myself. She is driving me insane. HELP!!

  • Advice for first time flying alone, ever.?

Well, I'm going to be flying from Calgary, Alberta to Kelowna, British Columbia. I have no idea what I'm doing. I've got a few questions. When you pass through security, how do you know where your gate is? Is it clearly labelled "Kelowna, Flight (whatever), etc? And how do you know when your flight is starting to board? Also, when i make it on the plane, how do i find my seat? IS it labelled or something for me? And once i find my seat and settle, when you take off, do your ears pop, or is that just a myth?

More Questions, When i get off, how will i know where my bags are going to be? This is very scary for me, but i think I'm probably over exaggerating. I want all the details from getting on to getting off. Step by step would be very helpful. Thanks in advance. :)
