I am a 71 year old man. I live in a very small house along the coast of Maine with my wife (the love of my life) and three cats. My heath is not all that I would like, and was told in 1999 that I would not live to see the new century. Now, 12 years later, I still take it one day at a time. While I love being alive, two near death experiences have freed me of any fear of death, itself. I am both an ex-Christian and an ex-Buddhist, and have hung out and studied with both Zen Masters and Tibetan Gurus. I have now decided that there is now and always has been just one true religion, and that is kindness. When you are being kind and caring, you are embraced by the one true religion, and when you are not, you are not. At this stage in my life I have better things to do than try to live up to others expectations. The picture I use for my avatar is really me. Kuma
