My family recently got the unlimited family messaging plan from AT&T. I know instant messaging is included, but is it extra to sign on the instant messaging program and stay on? Is this an extra charge or is all this included in that plan?

2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoReally long... Relationship Issues - Boyfriend Worth It?
I've been with my boyfriend for 5 months now. We’ve known each other since high school. At first, he kept talking to me and saying how he wanted to have a relationship with me, but me being a full-time student and having multiple jobs I really didn't have the time. I had told him this but he said he was understanding and willing to make it work. He said he didn't need to see me multiple times every week and that he, too, is a student and works and that whenever we can see each other, that's fine. Anyways, I was really skeptical at first and thought let's see how it works out.
The first few months have been nothing but great. We saw each other maybe a few times a week and when we did, we've always had a great time. However, this last month has been bothering me. I recently had to pick up another job due to being laid off from a previous one. Unfortunately, it has taken up most of the weekend - time that I've been able to spend with him. I've tried getting around those times but in the economy today, you got to take what's been given.
I've talked to him about this many times and he still always says he wants things to work out between us. Yet, lately he seemed annoyed that I'm only able to see him once this week. Every night when I get out of my night classes, we'll talk on the phone and he's always telling me to come over. After 12 hours (8am-8pm) of classes, I just want to go to bed. I also tried talking to him last night and he just seemed like he didn't want to hear it.
He's only a part-time student and has recently gotten his hours cut at work - so he has all this time available. I don't. I just am unsure what else to do in this situation. It also sucks, because he doesn’t even have his license, so I’m the one always doing the driving. Right now, school comes first - especially in the state of our economy, a college degree is really the only thing that'll make someone survive.
So, I’m sorry this is so long… but, should I wait it out? I talk to him and it’s always the same stuff and how he wants it to work. But if he’s losing his temper or seeming annoyed, how will that work anything out? Thanks… and thanks for reading this ridiculously long question. I’d appreciate any advice.
8 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoLaser Eye Surgery ... Some Advice/Questions?
A couple months ago I was laid off from work and unfortunately had to put this idea aside. But now I have a steady job again and this idea has popped up yet again and I hope to have a decision for the upcoming year.
I first had to get glasses over 10 years ago and started using contacts about 5 years ago and prefer them over the glasses. I have noticed, though, over the years my eye sight has definitely been getting worse. I only needed to get a stronger prescription every other year and now it has been increased to every 6-8 months. It's getting to be such a hassle for me that I did the math and it costs me over $500 every year to get new contacts/glasses, etc.
I mentioned to my eye doctor about laser eye surgery and he said it would work for my condition. I've done research but I want to hear the opinions of any of you and how you liked/did not like the procedure. Did it work for you? How often did you have to go? Roughly how much did it cost? Does health care help in the cost?
Thanks so much ... and anything else you want to add/mention would be greatly appreciated
3 AnswersOptical1 decade agoA vertical spring has a spring constant of 450 N/m and is mounted on the floor.?
Directly above the spring, which is left unstrained, a 0.3-kg block is dropped from rest. It collides and sticks to the spring, which is compressed by 2.5-cm in bringing the block to a momentary halt. Assume air resistance is negligible and from what height (in centimeters) above the spring was the block dropped?
None of the equations in the text I have seem to have anything in common with this problem. I'm lost and any bit of help, whether it be the formula or whatever will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

6 AnswersYahoo Shopping1 decade agoMagnitude - Am I approaching this correctly?
A rock of mass 45 kg falls straight down a cliff with a magnitude of air resistance that opposes its downward motion of 18 N. What is the magnitude of acceleration?
Would this be (9.8 x 45 x 18)?
2 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoAddition of Vectors ? Unsure how to approach?
F vector 1 = 50 Newtons, due east
F vector 2 = 10 Newtons, due east
F vector 3 = 40 Newtons, due west
F vector 4 = 30 Newtons, due west
How would I go about adding these?
Would I do this?
50 Newtons due east - 40 Newtons due west = 10 newtons due east?
10 Newtons due east + 50 Newtons due east = 60 Newtons due east?
The text does a horrible job in explaining how to approach these.
Thanks!
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoQuestion about Newton's Laws?
I've been stuck on this question for an hour now and it seems like a trick question, but I'm still not sure where to go with it.
Newton's first law states that an object will move with a constant velocity if nothing acts on it. This seems to contradict our everyday experience that all moving objects come to rest unless something acts on it to keep it going. Does our everyday experience contradict one of Newton's Laws? If it does not, explain the apparent contradiction. If it does, explain why we bother to teach Newton's first law anyway.
Thanks!
4 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoGoing on my first cruise.
I've never been on a cruise before so I really don't know what to expect. I read the cruise book that tells you the events going on, what to expect, etc. but it really wasn't informative on basic needs. Any advice? Things you'll definitely need? Things you won't need (because the cruise liner provides it?). Thanks!
