My husband of 20 yrs (yes, we have a solid marriage and otherwise wonderful relationship) is going on a cruise w/o me. The deal is this; his mother and step-dad have a 30 yr. anniversary coming up. They are celebrating by taking the entire family with them on a cruise! Way cool of them, of course. WE, however, have a lot of animals that need to be cared for. We can do weekend trips but certainly are unable to go away for a week at a time w/o someone to care for our animals. We have been unable to find anyone to care for them and our daughter (17) would really like to go with her grandparents on this cruise. While I would be more comfortable if at least one of us were with her on the cruise, I am also a bit "miffed" that the hub would go without me. (Mind you, it's not about the cruise--I don't like water or boats) but I wouldn't go on a cruise w/o him. While I want to give him my blessings, I am also not happy that he is going w/o me & am taking it personal. Am I justified or not?
