  • What are you cooking for Super Bowl Sunday?

I may have wings and Bar-B-Q. I'm really looking forward to the half-time show. I love the Black Eyed Peas and my son has a crush on Fergie so he's really excited. I hope they perform some of my favorites off their albums like XOXOXO, The Time, and Can't Get Enough.

  • Does anyone know of a restaraunt that serves ...?

Mongolian Bar-B-Q? My husband went to this place in Michigan where you take a bowl and choose your veggies and meats raw from a buffet bar and someone cooks it right in front of you. We have had japanese food prepared in front of us on a large grill at Lee's Golden Buddah. The difference is , that you choose your meal from a menu. There is no buffet where you grab the meats and veggies and sauce yourself like the mongolian Bar-B-Q. Anyone know of a place?

  • SCAM ALERT!! BOGUS CHECKS INVOLVING SWEEPSTAKES!!?

I recieved a letter and a check($4,900) in the mail from a so called NORTH AMERICAN SWEEPSTAKES. The letter heading is from a company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It instructs you to call a "tax agent" by the name of- David Jones, before attempting to do anything with the check. The letter contains a "ticket serial number" and "lucky winning number" The letter says that you are 1 of 10 winners splitting a 1 million dollar cash prize and that you are to pay $3,900 in applicable government taxes towards your winnings and to send the money via Western Union or Moneygram. Upon sending the money you will recieve a $95,100 lump sum of your winnings. You are to call the "tax agent" within 5 days of recieving the letter. The check looks real, however it appears to have a copied signature on it and the letter itself. The envelope had no return adress. The letter says the drawing was held September 28, 2008 and that the drawing was a random computerized drawing of 100,000 names. I did some research online. I came across a site called Rip Off Report (ripoffreport.com). I typed in -North American Sweepstakes. There were alot of reports about people who recieved the same letter , however the checks all had different companies names on them and while some of the amounts on the checks and the winnings were the same, there were some with bigger and smaller amounts. One person even said that the serial number and winning number matched another letter exactly. The letter is signed from a Mrs. Julia Miller(Promotion Manager), the signature don't appear to match that name.Be aware of any checks or letters in the mail. I know that this is a scam, but there are some people who have actually tried cashing in these checks and wind up in debt. It's the holiday season and the scam artists are at work targeting everyone with these bogus checks at a time when money is hard to come by. I'm worried that another inocent victim especially the elderly may fall victimt to this. If you have experienced this or know someone who has , I urge you to report it. My question has this happened to you?

  • My daughter is turning one. Any party game and recipe ideas?

I'm not sure if I want to have her party at our house, at Chuck-E Cheeses or if I should rent out the small community center near our house. My husban's parents are coming in from out of town yet I don't expect much of my family and friends to show up. What should I do? What do you think I should serve at the party? Any game ideas? And decorating ideas. ( Tinker Bell Theme)

  • Has anyone ever tried Riddex Plus?

I bought the two for one deal off the tv,and paid alot of money for S/H.

Let me just say, I keep a very clean house. The family in the condo next to us moved out and thier pest decided to take refuge in our home. We don't have rats. I tried the devices for three weeks and saw no results. I called customer service to ask for a refund. The rep asked me if I had my doors and windows open, I said no. She replied that I should have them open and thats why the "animals" are running around the house.I told her that mam it's cold and I'm not opening my doors and windows. (The directions say to keep doors and windows closed.) She offered to send replacements once I send the ones I have back.(I would pay the shipping). I told her no thanks. If they don't work why would I want you to send me the same thing. I firmly told her that I would like my account refunded. She said it will be granted once I ship the ones I have back. Bottom line is , for two it cost 29.99 plus S/H. I will not get a refund for the S/H. ($25 plus $3 to ship it back). The devices did'nt work for me and if you have'nt tried it, don't you will be out of more money than they're worth. If you have used them, What was your experience?
