  • Baseball: Need Keeper Recommendations?

My keeper league has some complex rules about who you can and can't hang on to. Without going into too much detail, I already have 4 sure things (Quentin, McLouth, Phillips, Doumit) and, assuming all else is equal, I can keep four more from:

    Francisco Liriano

    Aubrey Huff

    Rafael Furcal

    Yovani Gallardo

    Brad Lidge

    Frank Francisco

    Which 4 do I hold?

  • Ronnie Brown or Joe Addai?

I'm planning to make a trade in one of my leagues, but I have a couple of options. Assuming everything else is equal, would you rather have Ronnie Brown or Joseph Addai for the rest of the season?

  • Mason or Walter: Who to drop?

I have got to get Torry Holt out of my starting lineup, so I need to pick someone up to cover until Colston's return. The question is who to drop: I have Derrick Mason and Kevin Walter, neither of whom I'm interested in starting any time soon. Which one do I kick to the curb?

  • Meacham's Draft Value?

So, Robert Meacham had a great day against a bunch of Cardinal scrubs that will soon be cut. BUT, he was New Orleans' #1 pick in '07 and has a legitimate chance of starting opposite Colston this year.

Where would you put him on your cheat sheet? He probably shouldn't be starting, but he seems worth a late flier to me. I was thinking of ranking him in the low 30's, with the likes of Reggie Brown and Vincent Jackson. Any opinions on that?

  • Eveland Dilemma?

I'm looking for more starting pitching on my fantasy baseball team, and the best starter available is Dana Eveland of the Athletics. I have two issues stopping me from adding him:

    1. I'm an A's fan, so I try to avoid owning a lot of Oakland players because I'm not objective.

    2. I try not to own too many players from the same team, and I already have Harden and Greg Smith.

I'm not in a huge rush to add anyone right now, so I can wait, but another owner may add him, and I'd lose my opportunity. Advice?

  • Rich Harden or Yovani Gallardo?

I have both Harden and Gallardo on my team, and only room for one reliever who's not netting saves. Harden's an injury liability but is supposed to be starting after the all-star break. Gallardo's talented, but he'll only be back in the rotation if there's another injury. Which one would you keep, and what the heck do I do with the other guy?
