My hair us to be black and I got compared to Amy Winehouse, Kat Von D and Alanis Morsette a lot and I always hated it, so then I dyed my hair cherry red. The last comparrison I got was Liv Tyler, so that made me happy. I just want to look pretty, that's all.

The comparrisons were better, but now, I have to get a job that requires me to have naturally colored hair, so I was thinking a light, golden brown like Angelina Jolie;s or something.

Do you think I will still get compared to Amy, Kat, and Alanis? What do you think is something that is not like them at all?

What would be a natural colour that is the same TONE as this one? Would it be a cool light brown? I need to do this by tomorrow afternoon because I am going to get this great job in a musuem, but not if my hair is blue. BTW, I am doing this myself because I actually went to cosmotology school and I do not have money for a visit to the salon. They are very expensive in Canada and hairdresses can talk crap about you and be all pissed off if you do not leave at 15% tip.

This is so ridiculous, but I really wish I looked like her. A while ago one person told me I looked like her and since then, it has kind of escilated into this wish that I would love to look like her and I think about it everyday. I would not get plastic surgery to look like her like Nadya Suleman, but I just wish and hope that one day, maybe I could, with some sort of make over. I know I do not and it makes me very unsure about how attractive I could be. Instead of getting use to the way I look, I always wish I could look like her. I think she is honestly the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and she's so chararismatic. I know that I should be thankful that I can see, speak, and pretty much normal and to focus on things that expand my knowledge and thought, and I do, since I go to school for Art History at all. All this though, makes me feel that maybe I would be happier if I did look like her. She just has this presence about her that I do not. It's not that I lack confidence as a person, but my looks...it's just, overwhelming. I feel exhausted hoping one day people will tell me often that I look like her and I'm finding it hard to accept what I look like. I am not ugly at all, but I do not like the way I look because it doesn't resemble her. Sometimes, it my spare time, I will practice in front of my mirror with make up and see if I can try to copy her features with make up. I've never been a girl with serious mental problems and I am usually very busy with school and work. In my mind, I do not think I could ever look beautiful and feel it if it's not like her. It's sick...and everyday, it's getting harder to find a way out of this stupid and repetative thought.

I do not know if anyone knows how this feels. I was thinking of talking to someone about this, but I do not want to come across as being so vain and I feel vain and that is not a quality I like in people, but I'm acting like I am. It's kind of embarrasing for me to discuss this with people, even my family...and I haven't discussed this with anyone. Am I maybe experiencing anixety?

This is not a joke. I just want to see if anyone else has been through this type of thing.

I work in a coffee shop that is not doing well. I am only able to work one shift a week for 5 hours, so I am looking for a new job and I need to pay for school. I go to school for Fashion Design and I have to pay for all of my supplies b/ my student loan does not cover supply costs.

I think this might be a good job for me. It is sort of in my field and I heard that i get to make my own hours.

There is this guy that I have been talking to you for a while. I have no idea if he likes me or he just wants to screw me. I met him at a restaurant I worked at. On our first date, we went to a movie and we had a great conversation. On our second date, we just went for a long walk. He seems kind of like the type who justs wants me to message him all the time and he takes a very long time to respond to my messages. He asked, "where we were going with this", and I said, "whatever happens, happens...I'd like to take this slow". We do not see each other that often...but when we are together he's really nice to me. I have this feeling though that he may play games, or that he's full of himself and that he just wants sex. I want a relationship.

So, what do I tell him. Should we talk? Is there a point?

Okay, I just wanted to tell you that I am 24 years old. I think that I am too old to be thinking this. I have some flaws in my face. My face shape is kind of long as well as my nose. The sight of it in photos makes me so depressed, so much, that I do not even want to post a picture here. There have been people who said that I look like Alanis Morsette and Cher and that offended me. I know there are probably people out there who think they are attractive women, but I wish I could get a better comparison.

I want to be a beautiful girl, but men, just do not seem to notice me and sometimes, my boyfriend may look at another woman and it makes me feel ugly.

I also find that the men who do approach me are not what I would consider to be attractive. Very good looking men never look at me. I really wish they did.

I know personality makes up for a lot and I always make sure that I am a fun person to be around with, but I want to be beautiful and I want to have choice (even though I am with one guy right now)

I also know that having the best looking eyes, skin, breasts doesn't equate to happiness, but who said it doesn't help?

So, what can I do...

I'm Spanish and I'm not that proud of it, except of the great fine artists that came out of spain.

We have really bad music, the foundation of out society is like the middle ages, we have very judgemental people, and guys and girls are all praying in church and when they go out, they are out cheating with people, and generally,not all that attractive. I think it's full of phoney and fake people, more than any other culture. I have lived in United States, Canada, Italy, Germany, venezuela, colombia, and Spain.

First of all...I do not want plastic surgery.

I already have high cheakbones, an oval oblong face, full lips and and a straight nose. I don't have to look exactly like her, but I want people to at least look at me and maybe I can at least remind of Angelina.

I can admit she is very pretty, but the most beautiful, or it's Angelina Jolie. There are so many women that exist in this world. Why only fking Hollywood.

I love poison ivy, but she wears skin tight clothing. I really do not like to show my thighs. How can I be her and no one will notice my large thighs?
