    Hello,

I am going to Vegas in November, and wondered if anyone had advice as to when to order my money. Is the rate likely to get better for me?

  • TTC after Miscarriage?

    Hello ladies i'm a newbie,

I found out last monday that my little pee of 8 weeks had not grown past 5/6 weeks. I miscarried naturally and the bleeding started on the 30th October and stopped yesterday. My husband and I have come to terms with it. :( We have decided that we would like to try again as soon as possible, but as safe as possible.

I really do not wish to offend anyone so please don't take this in any other way but a question but..... with miscarrying so early like this does the miscarriage in a way act as a late period and would we be able to ttc are the bleeding stops (which feels like a crampier than nromal period for me) or is it dangerous to conceive before a natural cycle?

I wish all of you beautiful ladies good luck and lots of baby dust i can't imagine how hard it must have been for some of you who have miscarried or are ttc....

  • clearblue digital positive - could it be wrong?

Ive just had a positive 1-2 weeks on a clearblue test. I only came off my pill at the beginning of the month. Could my body getting used to being off the pill and trying to regulate me produce a false positive? My husband and i did intend to start trying i just didnt realise it would happen sooo quick. thank you xx

  • Should this be classed as ...?

    My AF?

My husband and I are TTC. I was due to come on, on 25th Sept so far there hasnt been anything like what would normally be my AF. There has been the tiniest bit of old stringy blood on the tissue (like tiny) and it's only in the 'canal' sorry to be graphic

  • How likely is it to fall......?

To fall pregnant the first month of coming off your pill?

My husband and I decided to start trying at the beginning of this month (I came off my pill and had a period around the 30th August).

If it takes weeks, months, years so be it but i'm just curious to hear from some of you who have and what symptoms you experienced at 2 weeks after conception. I don't know if this has anything to do with pregnancy or if I have conceived but i have the most awful blocked nose and a bit of a tickly cough no other flu like symptons, but my lower back is very achey.

I was due to come on, on Sunday so far there has been a tiny bit of blood on the tissue (not normal) and it's only in the 'canal' sorry to be graphic

  • Am I giving myself false hope?

I came of the pill and had a period from the 30th August to the 4th September. My husband and I decided we wouldnt go back on the pill and start trying. If the calender is right i am due my next period on the 27th September and was ovulation around the 13th September. We bedded down 7th,8th,11th,13th and 14th. How likely is it that i could have conceived and when is TOO early to test :)

    thank you

  • Aggression or just vocal?

    Hi,

My mum has a poodle mix, she is a lovely natured dog, but when she is lying down and you move her- i.e. wherever she is, sofa, floor, just to stroke her she makes a noise. She opens her mouth (not snarling) and makes a "heeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, heeeeeer, herrrr" sound?? It sounds really nasty but you can still touch her all over, touch her mouth, move her legs, put her face to you with no attempt at biting or any nastiness. I think it is a sort of moan "really do you have to" but obviously to be on the safe side we want to make sure that this wont lead to something.

She only ever does it when she is laying down and of course we touch her because she is our dog and to make sure if children are round she wont get aggressive.

She has never ever snapped, never bitten, never even shown her teeth to us.

She does show her teeth when playing with my dog which we know is play because neither close their mouths and i can even play with them and they never close teeth just sort of "mouth" eachother.

    thank you

  • New puppy - how to approach certain behaviour?

    Hi all,

We have a beautiful 10 week old Lhaso x Yorkie pup named Mylo.

He is very affectionate, very good with housetraining, loves play etc. (He is being crate trained)

He has started to find his feet and is now letting us know what he does and doesn’t like. We are very careful to let him know that he can do things if we choose for him to not if he decides i.e. sitting on the sofa.

He was sitting in my sister's arms yesterday and wanted to get down, my sister held on to him (so that she could bend down and let him down without him jumping 4 foot) and he made a really nasty sounding growl/snarl - as in "I WANT DOWN!" I straight away went over and growled NO at him and he seemed to get it. Then later on in the day I got out the tear stain wipes because i thought it would be best to start getting him used to having his eyes, ears and mouth etc looked at from a young age. He started snarling at me as i was doing it, i told him no and persevered with him making noises. I then put him down and walked away and he came running after me with his tail wagging.

How should I approach situations like this. He is so good with other dogs, kids and people so far. He has been socialised soooooooooo much already. He is starting puppy classes on Wednesday at our vets, he is fine at the vets and didn’t make a peep with his injections and microchipping.

I just want to make sure that i do things right and he doesn’t end up being aggressive with things he doesn’t like to do.

    Thank you for any advice.

  • Would you have Laminate or Vinyl?

    Hey guys,

My husband and I have just purchased our first home. We are debating on flooring for the kitchen and living room. Vinyl or laminate. I would prefer vinyl in the kitchen (stone effect) and laminate in the living room (harder wearing, looks better, guaranteed for 20 years) the husband would prefer to go vinyl throughout due to money being a bit tight at the moment.

For those of you who have both or have tried both can you give your fors and againsts?

    thank you
