I'm making a cartoon, and one of my major characters is a Hawaiian native who moved to NYC. I don't want to be a racist idiot who gives the character a ridiculous accent or uses some mangled version of pidgin. I can't exactly visit Hawaii and get a feel for it (although I'd love to), so right now it's just about research. Where can I do some reading to get a good feel for his dialogue? Videos would also be helpful.

(By the way, I'm really sorry to any Hawaii residents if I come off as ignorant. At least this thing is still in the research phase.)

I have a crush on my friend, but I think it's more infatuation than love. He's just gone through a bad breakup and wants a shoulder to cry on-- mine.

Even if I DID decide to pursue him, this would be an insensitive time to make my move, so I won't. But as it is, this is extremely awkward and I feel hypocritical trying to comfort him on his singleness.

Any general social advice to ease the awkwardness? What do I do?

I am a young adult girl, and I'm thinking of telling a male around my age how I feel. I've never been in a relationship before, and I want to start slow. I don't want to get physical immediately-- holding hands, kissing and simple stuff like that is fine-- and I don't want to have sex until marriage.

The problem is, we're both exiting our teenage years, and we're "at that age". Would a crazy young boy even be interested in a sexless romance? Will I embarrass myself trying?

Somebody recommended the song "Look Where We Are" by Hoobastank to me, but I can't find it anywhere. I searched YouTube for it, but couldn't find anything but people's covers.

I don't need to download it, I just want to hear the full song. I'm not picky about sound quality.

I've heard two different recordings of this song on YouTube. Both of them are by Lifehouse, but they're sung differently. One of them is softer than the other.

I want to make a video about these two characters, but I'm running out of songs to use.

He obviously has a crush on her, but the nature of their relationship is pretty vague. Officially, they're just close friends, but they're pretty plainly falling in love.

I'd like the song to be upbeat to fit the tone of the show, but it doesn't have to be. The one real requirement is that the song be clean; something I wouldn't be embarrassed to play with my family in the room.
