  • If no one is around to hear a liberal whine, does it still make a noise?

It is nice to see the system work once in a while - i.e. Wisconsin. I love seeing the outrage and contempt spewing from the liberals when they can't get their way. Brings a little smile to my day.

  • Supreme court rules 5-4 to limit local gun bans... 5-4? Why not 9-0?

The court ruled 5-4 that the Constitution's "right to keep and bear arms" is in fact a restraint on the ability to limit gun laws nationwide. Now all of that makes a fair amount of sense to me. Chicago had a 28 year ban on hand guns that will now lift, as will other cities with similar laws/bans.

My issue falls with the vote of our glorious court... the 5 "yes" votes were by moderate conservative judges, while the 4 "nos" were by liberal judges. How can your political afilliation change the way that you view the Constitution??? Written in black and white is the "right to keep and bear arms". Nowhere in the Constitution does it dictate that a federal government has ANY say in the matter.

  • Have your eyes begun to open yet?

So let's find out if there are any of you Obamaniacs out there who are at least moderately disappointed with the way our little Barry has begun his presidency? Anyone? Or are you all on the band-wagon and wholeheartedly support appointment after appointment to crooks and dispicable thieves? Try not paying your taxes... see if you get a "get out of jail free card"

  • How can I stop my dog from peeing in his kennel???

I have an 8 mo. old GSP (shorthaired pointer). He has the ability to hold his pee for 8-10 hours... he generally holds it all night from 10 p.m. to about 7 a.m. During the day while I'm at work it's hit or miss, sometimes he holds it, sometimes he doesn't. He's not an inside dog per se, so he's not entirely house broken. He knows for the most part that he's not suppose to pee inside. So how can I stop him from peeing in a 2-3 hour timespan when I KNOW he can hold it??? For the record this dog pees more than any other dog I've owned or known. He absolutely loves water and craves it... he then proceeds to pee constantly when we're outside. He's not marking, just peeing...

  • Fist bumping is "hip"?

Regardless of speculation as to what the fist bump does to promote his personality... when did fist bumping become considered hip?

A lot of things have been considered hip over the past decades... I don't recall any presidential "hopefuls" displaying how hip they are.

  • What are your thoughts on the liberal media bias and their confused opinions???

McCain and Obama as polar opposites... yes. "... can the country overcome [it's] unsavory history of slavery and lingering bigotry that deeply divides the public to be elected the first black president?"

Now does that question sound to you like fact or opinion? It sounds like a liberal media's opinion of someone who opposed 'Bama. The media are a bunch of buffoons who can't digest the fact that many Americans feel 'Bama would destroy the country far worse than any other candidate... how does that translate into racism? Then again, what else would you expect from MSNBC...

  • Should we send the Commies away?

In all seriousness... is there no place that we can gather up and send these crowds of people who seem to veer so ungodly far to the left that they want to give away our freedoms and rights? Save the patriots the trouble of chastising and badgering you.

  • Is Iran and was Iraq actually a threat???

I ask this, prompted by a response I just saw posted by someone who claims to have a brother that died in Iraq. If that's the truth, God bless him. If not, then you really should be ashamed...

On to the point. Opinions is the name of the game - no facts here baby. Tell me ladies and gents, do our comrades in the middle east (most notably the former Iraq and currently Iran) pose a threat to us? Could we "squish their armies in a few hours"? That quote is from the fellow who prompted my question...

  • Obama - Auschwitz, give me a break?

I realize that people use stories and nursery rhymes to make a point... but isn't "making up" a story about your war hero uncle (not even going to touch the Obama v. McCain war hero thing) kind of twisted?

Russian troops liberated the camp... no record of U.S. troops entering the camp has ever been discovered. Are we to believe that Obama is simple a crafty speaker and merely using these little stories to solidify a point about the need to provide veterans with better mental health care???

Wake up people!!! Hillary, McCain, Ron Paul... none of them are tossing out garbage like this. How can you die hard Obamites still stand behind this guy!?!

  • What do you think about teachers and their complaints??

Teachers have a good pension, retirement plan etc. They receive benefits that many of us in the free market do not. Working 9 mos. out of the year for an above median wage doesn't seem outrageous to me. Get a second job if it isn't doing the trick for you.

I speak from my personal experience with friends - some of whom are teachers in the public schools.

  • Castro calls Obama speech "formula for hunger"?

What do you think about this scenario? While Obama is likely THE most liberal candidate for president that this country has ever seen... it's still not good enough for the Castros. Should we continue to "discuss and facilitate" progress with Cuba, or should we leave them to their own devices as has been done for the past 50 years?

  • Anyone else have issues with unhappy Libs deleting their answers??? ;oP?

When you pose a question indicating that Republicans all oppose gay marriage, that it's a God (pardon... I know many of the Libs are against religion) right that has so harshly been taken away...

Question was: Do you think we should ban republicans from marrying?

Now I ask you... what type of numbskull would actually post that question? Secondly, what type of insecure numbskull would actually delete an aswer stating that perhaps he need to pull his head out of his rear end to supply a bit of air to his "brain"?

  • Do any of you fellow conservatives plan on getting involved in local politics??

Since many of us do seem to be like minded and demonstrate concern for where our country has gone and which way it's headed in the near future... do any of you plan on getting involved with local politics in an attempt to curb the outlandish and inappropriate spending of tax dollars?

I for one am strongly considering getting involved at the local level so that I can hopefully have some direct effect on the area I live in, being so swiftly overcome with insanity.

The guy was beloved and cherished in MN. Great pitcher no doubt, no question. But will the fans in NY show as much love as the ones in MN? East vs. the Midwest
