Ok i need some help here, i have to do a debate in my speech class on why activism is more valuable than pacifism and Ive chose to go in the direction of activism against capital punishment and just activism in the court setting period. So i know famous cases such as Tookie williams a couple years ago and more recently Troy Davis that sparked many protests but didn't work out. So what i desperately need are examples of other cases that sparked protests and either caused a reexamination of evidence that eventually led to freedom of the accused, or cases in which the governor granted clemency, or even cases in which lawyers worked for years to eventually find evidence that led to the release of their client. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

So I have to prepare a speech in my college speech class and I'm having difficulty. It is an Informative speech in which we're supposed to educate the audience and my professor said it had to be something that is beneficial to humans and is fairly recent, the recommended topic area's are technology, science, and health/medicine although the topics do no necessarily have to deal with those. The subject also has to be something that approx. 90 percent of the class has not heard of before. He has already shot down a few of my proposed topics for being too " general knowledge" and I'm starting to worry about not finding a suitable topic. So if anyone has any suggestions on recent developments in science, or new technologies beneficial to humans, or even just a new method of doing something it will be greatly appreciated as i need the help. Also if you've done an informative speech like this before and want to share please do. Thanks

I had a fairly recently made full circle kind of Zombie deck and i was hit badly by the recent march ban list. I had 3 D Draws, 2 allures, and 2 mezuki's. I really liked my deck and i dont wanna completely give up on it but i might have too. Im gonna post the deck lists with the restricted cards in it so please make suggestions on the cards i need to replace. i know it wont have the same draw power but i still want it to be good.

My ipod was synced to my old laptop then the laptop it broke, so i got a new laptop but my ipod was only able to put the songs I had purchased on the computer. I want all my songs including the ones i got from limewire to be synced. I've also tried buying songs directly from itunes and even those dont sync to the ipod. My new computer is a Macbook pro, any help you can give will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Ok, so I just started college and there's this girl that i really like in one of my classes and i think she might like me too every time we look at each other we smile and we've had great conversations. The problem is that another guy also likes this girl and has made it clear to me that hes gonna try everything he can to get her number and he sits much closer to her then i do, they are constantly talking and laughing and when i try to talk to her during the class he says something to her and cuts me off. I'm generally a shy guy with girls so I'm nervous about imposing myself during class and i'm tired of other guys taking girls i like, and i'd really like to talk to her more, however i feel like i'm losing my chance with her if this guy keeps getting in my way. By the way this class is really easy so i don't have to pay much attention. Thanks in advance
