  • What would be a good title for the sequel of my book on Wattpad?

The first book is called Deception Point and I'm have trouble coming up with a second title now as I work on the sequel. For the second book I was thinking maybe Ignition Point, but I'm just not sure that's right. Any help would best much appreciated.

    Thanks

  • What would be a good title for my story?

As of now, I have everything except a title. The story is about a young couple whose lives are shattered by the lose of their only daughter, two year old Trinity, and their struggle to pull their life and marriage back together. Any ideas. No rude comments please. Thanks.

  • Does this seem like a good way to start a story or is there something better you can think of?

Isobel gazed expectantly at me before asking her question. "Lau, are you going to die?"

"No, Iz, my genes are just rebelling."

If I could laugh, I would, at the irony of those words and my naivete of the consequences of my sentence, because even smart little Izzy hadn't contradicted me.

Any ideas what these pins symbolize?

I think they are military pins, but I'm not sure what their significance is. Does anyone know? Thanks so much.

What would be a good name for this character?

In my new dystopian novel, this character is a citizen of the military district. So, given those details, what would be a good name for him?

  • Names for male characters in my new dystopian novel?

I have everything else planned out, including the beginnings of an official outline, but am having trouble coming up with names for some of the male characters. To give you an idea of the kinds of names I'm looking for, a few of the female names I've chosen are Linnea, Elia, and Calyx. Thanks for your help:)

What if Tris didn't really die, but her death was faked by the government and she's in a secret prison somewhere?

  • What would be a good name for the main character in my dystopian novel?

I've just recently started working on a new idea for a novel and have pretty much everything laid out except a name for the main character. She's about 12 or 13 and has curly, strawberry blonde hair and pale green/ blue eyes. I'm not sure yet if her name will be more girly or edgy, so both would be great. Maybe even a girly name with an edgy nickname. It just definitely has to be unusual though, and every little bit helps.

    Thanks so much:)

  • Which title would be better for this story?

"Don't Forget the Roses" or "Don't Forget About the Roses"?

    Description:

So, it centers around a pair of sister, Gracie and Isobel Rose, who are 7 and 9, the daughters of either a diplomat or a well to do business man. The father is often gone on trips overseas, so the girls spend the majority of the time with their mother. After she is diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), she begins having more and more trouble taking care of them. Her doctor believes she may have been living with it for over a year, but that she had only just started displaying symptoms. With their father's job and their mother's condition, the family decides to hire a nanny for the girls, and the story is told from her point of view. I plan to start a few years after Laura, the nanny has been working for them. She has become very close to the girls. When Laura finds out she suffers from a serious autoimmune disease, she's afraid to tell the family, especially the girls, because of what they have already gone. So again, which title sounds better: "Don't Forget the Roses" or "Don't Forget About the Roses"? No rude comments please. Thanks.

  • I really need help choosing character names?

Sorry if this is a long list, but I need quite a few ideas for character names. All will be Japanese, so please, please suggest accordingly. It is meant to be fantasy, but not necessarily an anime. To be brief, a boy finds some interesting comics hidden in the library at his school, and what he finds is really amazing...and a bit shocking. So I will need names for:

    The boy's mother,

aunt, three siblings (an older sister, younger sister and brother), a girl cousin younger than him, and one girl older than him. His oldest cousin is in his teens, named Tano, and attends the school (it's a boarding school).

A few other characters I need help with l, are one of the staff's families (they live in a house on the campus), so that'd be the mother (kitchen staff) and father (works in the wooden shop). And finally their three child, an older girl, a middle girl, and the youngest boy.

Thank you so much, please no rude comments.

  • School name suggestions for a story?

It is a Japanese school and the school color are green and gold (maybe black) and the name will be formatted as "cool Japanese name" Hall. It is a boarding school, if that helps. No rude comments, thanks:)

  • Which do you prefer?

I love this name, but can't decide which way I like it spelled. So, which do you prefer, Maya and Maia? They're both legitimate spelling, but I'm still not sure. I'm not pregnant, just thinking:)

ps middle names suggestions are welcome too.

  • Good hook or not?

It's for a new story. Some one the main characters love is sick and they are having and hard time dealing with it. It will most likely have multiple POVs. I think the story will start in the present first, with this hook:

"I'm not sick, Iz, my genes are," I sighed. "just rebelling against me."

No rude comments, just help please. Thanks:)

ps I'm considering calling it "Don't Forget About the Roses" (keep in mind that I have more planned then I've included in this question, so I'm not hastily picking this title, it has meaning to the story later on)
