  • Looking for a new/or older PC Game to Try?

Ok Hi all I'm SWM 31 and need some real in put on what games are worth trying. I see that EA has a promo special on Warhammer Online and I was wondering if its worth trying it out? I play Ultima Online and like to take breaks to try new things. I do have a WOW account that I have suspended dew to lack of help at my level. (40) What about SPORE ? I played around with the demo and liked it. Is it worth $50 to get the whole thing? I don't want to get it and then get burned out in 2 hours. I am also curious about the Battlefield games. I am looking for player to player interaction as well as a fun game. Playing a game with lots of adult players is mostly what I'm looking for. 10 big points to the person most helpful. Please trolls about my age.

  • Star Trek Voyager question?

Hey thanks to netflix I was able to go back and watch all the episodes. There were several I had never seen or only had caught parts of. Last night I watched "EndGame" bringing my months of enjoyment of Voyager to an end. Just curious if anyone in the Trek Universe wrote any books on what happened to the crew once they got home? I mean EndGame gave us ideas as to what may have happened had the original time line gone through. However that time line was erased when Voyager made it back to the Alpha quadrant thanks to Admiral Janeway. I know that Voyager ended about 10 years ago but I have more time on my hands now. So any help would be great! Especially if there are good books about what happened and ones that stink. Ten big points to the best advice. "Live Long and Prosper"

  • Depressed Fire Belly Toad?

Hi this may sound a little weird but I have 12 fire belly toads and I think one is depressed. I changed the aquarium from 80/20 water/land to a 70/30 land/water. I put soil and a not toxic Ivy plant with them. I have one toad that insists on getting in to a very tiny spot behind the water can tank glass. I've tried filling the spot so it cant get in there but it finds a way. Should I be worried or just let it come out when its comfortable? Could it be a female that is not wanting harassed my "eager" males in the tank? Any help would be great! Ps I'm sure its not mating season and I can't accurately tell the males from females right now.

  • Speeding up Apple snail egg clusters hatching time?

Hey I have 2 apple snails and I have both a male and female. The Female has Laid 3 nice size egg clusters above the water line. I keep the water warm with a heater and leave the light on to keep air temp warm. I also use an air stone to create humidity and to keep the water from going stagnant. Is there anything I can do to "encourage" the eggs to hatch faster? Thanks :)

  • Feeding & Breeding Fire Belly Toads?

I have 12 FBT and yesterday I fed them a good amount of crickets dusted in calcium powder. They seem to still be hungry. I have some baby guppies in the water for them to snack on but they still seem restless. The water temp is in the "green zone" mid 70's f on the water thermometer and I have a 60 watt light bulb to keep the air temp up. I don't want to make my toads over weight by feeding them too much but I do want to "encourage" them to begin mating. I have some males all ready hooting and giving their specal "hugs" but have no receptive females. Will feeding them all more help with this? Also does anyone know if FBT like red worms also know as red wigglers? Thanks so much!!!

  • Curious about fertilizers for freshwater plants?

I'm to wanting to grow my own Anacharis to feed my turtles. I have a feeder tank that's cycled with guppies and snails in it. If i wanted to cause my plants to grow rapidly could I put Miracle grow or other stronger fertilizer in with the snails and fish or should I set up a plant tank and go about it that way? I'm getting the turtles as hatchlings so their diet will be mostly protein for a good while so I have time to raise a bunch of plants. I'm just worried about what chemicals in the fertilizer might burn and kill the fish and snails. Never took chemistry in school. lol thanks for the help :)

  • Fast Reproducing Freshwater snails?

Hey I've been playing with aquarium for a couple years and I'm getting ready to get some baby red ear slider turtles. I''ve read that aquatic and semi aquatic turtles love snails. I have a cycled aquarium with some feeder guppies, 2 large apple snails, and about 10-25 Malaysian trumpet snails. I just need to know whats snails reproduce really fast and what lighting, water temp etc encourage mass breeding and growth. The size of the cycled aquarium is 10 gal. The turtles are going into 2 10 gal with 2-3 turtles per tank. I've had turtles before and know what I'm getting into so please no trolls, I will gladly accept any advice about turtles as well as snails. Thanks bunches :) PS I live in Northwestern Pa so any links to good online stores to purchase snails or turtle accessories would be great!
