We go for walks every day mostly on sidewalks I bought some creme at petstore for sore and cracked pads but she and other dog immediately lick it off. I am holding off on the walks to see if rest will help. Does anyone have a suggestion on what if anything topical I can put on her that she won't lick off. I have also tried socks they may help a bit as the creme stays on a little longer while she rips the socks apart. If I supervise her when she has socks she will sit quietly but the moment I relax or look away she pulls them off. She acts very insulted when they are on and wants them off big time.
