Error e305 on Xbox one?
I ve bought two of this system (returned the first one) with the same problem; it ll load, then give a e305 error/contact Xbox support. Is this normal/usually happen? I have wifi, & would prefer not to debug the thing myself. It doesn t "hard reset" like I ve read on some forums, so no need to mention that. Any help is appreciated.
1 AnswerXbox5 years agoAre Gel-Excite 2 good running shoes for guys with high arches?
I'm a regular runner; try to do a 5k every other day. My problem is I have high arches, so if I don't wear shoes with the proper support, it kills my knees.
The store clerk said these would work, but they didn't feel the same as ones I've used it the past. So, are these shoes for people like that, or should I just return them while I can?
1 AnswerRunning6 years agoFilipina dating advice?
I met this girl that's spending a half year in my area as an au pair for her sister.
She's never been out of the Philipines before, but we seem to have hit it off.
We went out to eat, but had me order for her(guessing that's done over there). She seemed to smile a lot; went bowling & she'd give me the occasional touch, but give me little joking comments like "miss/gutter ball" a few times.
Not to ramble/my point is (and preferably only answer if you are or have experience with Philipino culture) are there any signs that a Filipina is genuinly interested in a foreigner? She mentioned that I'm sweet/nice/someone she would get serious with, but want some advice if it's just sweet talk.
3 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoLooking at laptops for work & play?
I've got an older model (gateway, intel centrino, windows 7...can't really remember all the stats but it's around 3-4years old). It's good enough for anything work related/going online, But I'm thinking of getting a new one for under 500$.
Found a deal where the following was at or below my range:
- Toshiba Satellite C55-A5332
I'm looking for something with some decent software/programs already installed for reports/essays/presentations, etc. but also for gaming (nothing insane like alienware, but enough to skate buy with current PC games).
If the one above is good enough, or you have some suggestions in my price range, let me know.
1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks8 years agoWould this be weird? (dating etiquette advice)?
Started seeing someone, been on 5-6 dates, and noticed she's actually friends on FB with one of my male cousins. Would either of the following be out of line? (& please commentors, I'm asking for advice, not insults).
-Casually ask my cousin on FB how they know each other just to find out anything I might not like (if they dated, if she's got more baggage than she's mentioned; he's fairly honest/not likely to lie to me).
or
-Ask her(again casually) how they knew each other; say something like "oh I was seeing how my cousin was doing, checked out his FB page, & noticed you on his displayed friends"
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoWhere in Tx should I live?
I've lived on the east coast for most of my life, but lived a few years in the mid west (visited Texas twice) & while I'm not entirely sure it's where I'll live, I'd like a locals opinion as it is unlikely I'll settle down out east (just too expensive to live).
I was thinking Austin since I've heard it's very cosmopolitan/"weird" in a good way, but what I'm looking for is:
-Reasonably priced houses/land (I'd like anywhere from 2-4+ acres but nothing definite with the land yet)
-Multicultural (to some degree) somewhere where ethnic food/etc. is reasonably around.
-Minimal religious fanatics/bible beaters (yes.. I realize this is Tx/have lived in the mid west but I'm not fond of the places/counties where the main mentality is: "This is this and that is that, & if you don't believe what I believe/are not a "devout Christian" I'm going to yell/try to convert you.. & yes, those types exist).
-Average to great schools (want to raise a family eventually & education is a top priority)
-Really, a place that's somewhat out of the way, but can drive to a major city/places of interest within an hour or so.
Note: not trying to offend anyone so please no rude comments. I'm admitting I DO NOT know Tx as well as a local, so do not take my lack of knowledge as a smack in the face/intentional insult.
6 AnswersHouston8 years agoCan a TracFone use a at&t phone card?
I bought an older relative a TracFone (cheap 12-14$ one) cause they wanted something to pay as they go/nothing pricy . Also wanted me to get them a phone card online cause it only had 15 minutes on the phone itself. So I bought them a 40$ AT&T phone card. Now their pissed that apparently it only takes tracphone cards, not AT&T. Is this true? Or is it more likely they just didn't know how to use it?
If you've used/have a tracphone, plz let me know.

4 AnswersJapan8 years agoStanding Bass question?
I was working on a house a friend just bought & was told If I found anything left behind by the previous owners I could keep. To my surprise, behind some junk in the Basement was a Double (or standing, not sure what the exact name is as I'm not a classical musician) Bass.
I'd love to learn to play it, but the cost of lessons & limited space is making me lean toward selling it.
It looks like it's in Ok condition, but not sure of the brand/what it'd go for. I'm assuming it's a beginners bass; it's about 68" tall. Is there anyway to tell what type/brand? I just don't want to be low balled by a music store should I decide to sell it.
1 AnswerPerforming Arts8 years agoCustom motorcycle question?
I'm thinking about buying a Misfit motorcycle sometime in the future; I've been told they're a good starter bike, but the top speed is around 75mph. I've heard you can "punch out" the motor on bikes to get a higher mph. Would doing this get it up to 100, or more? Any negatives to doing this?
Any positve advice is appreciated.
3 AnswersMotorcycles8 years agoDating experiences in the military?
I've heard just about everything, but want to know what prior service people have to say on here (tips/advice/etc). I'm male, going in & right before the age cut off (AF). I've heard a lot of people are swingers/there's no monogamy except with the overly religious people/etc. but want to know what you all experienced.
5 AnswersMilitary8 years agoCasual dating advice, opinions plz?
Normally, I'm the one giving advice... but When it comes to my own situations...well, I really don't know what to do.
At what point does casual dating stop being that?
I'm a guy, have had a dating dry spell, & ran into this girl a while back. Decent personality, thin. but ugly (and no shallow comments, I've dated all sizes, & you ladies are just as bad if a guy's short/bald/broke/etc, so plz, no negative comments) By ugly, I mean it's like she hasn't been to the dentist for a cleaning anytime soon/plaque build up (& she has insurance). But what's worse for me is she's got facial hair (light moustache & chin hair...really wish I was joking...& she has blk hair so it's not like you can't see it :(
I feel like she's more a female friend/can't just say "Hey, think you could wax that, & go get your teeth clean" (well not nicely anyway, & again... no rude remarks, I take care of myself grooming wise).
There's someone else that I just met & she's amazing, we talked for hours/have similar personalities/thick in a good way/think she's really into me. But since I'm not exclusively seeing anyone/haven't done anything in a while.. is it wrong to just friend-zone the first one mentioned? We guys get it done to us all the time with out care, so why shouldn't we? Let me know what you all think.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoAir Force career advice?
My scores:
M 82
A 74
G 78
E 81
Was looking at a few careers, but want some opinions from those in the AF/military before I choose my 5.
I'm interested in the following:
- Eventually going officer (have a Bachelors already, but couldn't go straight to O)
- Want to travel
- Learn something that can transfer to a civilian career (should I decide to get out)
- Possibly cross train to CC or TACP (poor vision, need to wait min. 1 year for surgery)
2 AnswersMilitary8 years agoPet bird behavior question?
Anyone that has a pet conure:
My friend's bird is usually aggressive towards others, but whenever I give it attention it'll do the following:
-Fluff up
-Close one (or both) it's eyes and move them up & down while closed
-Shake on occasion while fluffed up
Didn't try to attack/act aggressive when I showed it attention, but did the above actions
The owner doesn't really play with it so it might of gone feral/explain why it'll attack anyone if it's out/they get near the cage.
2 AnswersBirds8 years agoWhat's a good/cheap digital watch you could suggest?
To be specific:
-It NEEDS to have both displays of regular & military time.
-Cheap (<20$, but no more than 30$)
-Water resistant
[For BMT in case anyone was wondering why a watch question was asked in the Military section; heard it helps to have one/can't hurt.]
4 AnswersMilitary8 years agoHonest opinion(driving to a test site)?
Is it sad for a grown man (in his 20s) who's used to driving, have a friend drive him into the city if he's uncomfortable driving in?
Taking an exam & the closest test site is a 2 hr drive into the city. I'm mainly a country/suburban guy & don't want to get stressed before taking the exam(e.g. finding a parking spot/rush hour/etc.). It'd also help cause I'd probably need someone to feed the meter while I'm in the building in likely event it runs out before I'm done.
So what do you all think? B itch move on my part, or understandable?
2 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation8 years agoHerbal supplement question?
Not something I like to talk about, but since I've got some anonymity.. here we go.
Since my early teens, I've been pee shy. Used to hold it in all day till I got home from school & even when I went to college/only started to attempt getting over it during my sr. year & have been making occasional attempts ever since. While in school, I attempted to talk to my family doctor at the time about it(elderly/old school doc. that was uncomfortable, or uninformed) & he just said (without any physical exams/scans) to just keep doing whatever I'm doing. I've gotten to the point where I can use single stall Rest rooms, and open public rest room stalls if no one's in the men's room [just takes me anywhere from 10sec to a min to urinate]. I'm pretty sure it's just a phobia, but don't know if it could also be physical/ what to do since I no longer have insurance & have been like this for well over a decade.
I'm too young to statistically have prostate problems, but was thinking about taking powdered saw palmetto & see if this helps. are there any noticeable negative side-effects that could occur from taking it?
I need to get over it as I'm getting into a career that requires me to(traveling/little privacy/etc).
Only positive answers please(e.g. no bashing, I'm asking for help, not insults)
1 AnswerMen's Health8 years agoLaptop/Notebook advice?
I'm looking for a laptop or note book (never bought the latter) with the following:
-compact/small (or at least not too big for portability's sake)
-reasonable price 100-300$
-Wifi capable (and gets a signal easy/well)
Really just something I can go online with/check e-mail, watch movies. Not a gaming PC.
3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks8 years agoJogging question(s) please help?
Started going to the gym to jog, 3x a week, about 5k each run (30-33mins)
Lately I've been getting some pain in the outer side of my right knee. Feels fine when I'm walking, but if I were to kneel/squat/anything where I'd need to bend my knees I'd get substantial pain in that area.
Did I just pull something? Can it be fixed without having to stop jogging regularly?
Note:Broke my left leg a few years back/healed up ok with minimal loss, but do you think my right leg could be compensating without me knowing/causing the damage?.. I did get piss poor PT for it.
Also, is my 5k time ok for someone just getting back into running? (it's only been 2 weeks)
1 AnswerRunning8 years agoMilitary career question?
First off, NO bashing negative comments please. Save that for another person cause that's all I seem to get when I write a military based Q 90% of the time; & thanks ahead to any former military personnel willing to answer honestly.
I'm going into my late 20s, with a bachelors/in "ok" shape but can't get any stable work where I am. My cousin has been pushing to sign me up for the air force (went a little overboard with it during the holidays) and am considering OCS if things continue to be grim/nonexistent in the job market. Granted, I may stay in for only four years, I may try to stay in as long as possible should I choose this. What I'd like to know from anyone who's been or knows these careers if there's any transition to the civ. world afterward (easy ex: MP to cop)/likelihood of actually getting into it, etc.
-Security forces officer
-Pilot (gun ship, not fighter jet)
-Combat rescue officer
I know the last two are the least likely due to the low pass rate/high demands, but humor me as these are my interests. Also, if you are ex air force & want to suggest any officer based career, that'd be great too.
