so i recently started officially dating this guy i was casually seeing. He's really cute, fit, funny, and spontaneous, where im pretty, curvy, and a planner. we met late last july and have been seeing each other 3-4 times a week the last 2 months and decided to try it as a real couple. we both have had bad luck in relationships, which is why we took things so slow, but i am really into him now and dont wanna mess things up. hes 24 and im almost 21 btw. any advice on how to keep things light but still fulfilling as a relationship? hes so laid back and go with the flow, i just dont wanna scare him off....

I am making a peach pie from frozen peaches and the recipe calls for 1/4 cup quick cooking tapioca, which is a thickener... From what I've found on google, when baking something like this it is better to use tapioca rather than flour or corn starch, does it make a difference? Is there something I can easily substitute without messing up the flavor of the pie? It is for a Thanksgiving meal (special request but i've never made it before and don't even like peaches but want it to be perfect). I have looked for this tapioca stuff at 2 major national stores and one local grocery store with no luck.... Please help!

My bf is in the Army, I haven't seen him since June 8th 2011 because he was deployed. Before that night I hadn't seen him since February 20th due to basic training. We have been together for almost 16 months and I love him. Unfortunately, he is one of the worst communicators ever! He got back into the US the end of March and has been going through all the medical checks. He's on a base about 5 hours from where I live, but I have 2 jobs just to make ends meet and can't take any time off. He said it'll be at least 2 more weeks before I can see him but I am going insane. I have been faithful the entire time. I have been a loyal gf, as patient as possible, but it has been so hard on me emotionally. I cry more than I smile, I don't remember the last time I didn't fall asleep on a damp pillow. Depression runs in my family, my mom and my sister are both working on their issues. As in love with him as I felt when he left, well its faded, I don't know how I even feel anymore. He hardly talks to me, even now that he's just on a base, not in the field. He can be so romantic, but I haven't seen that side of him since August. This is just driving me insane. I can't be alone anymore. I need him with me. I need to get to know him again. But I don't know if being together can make up for everything we have been through while apart. Should I dump him now and cut my losses? or should I wait it out and risk it not working out anyway? I just turned 20 and he is 23 btw.

I have seasonal allergies, never been offically diagnosed but they started 3 years ago. They are always the worst right around my birthday, which was Saturday. I woke up this morning with one horribly runny nostril (worse than a dripping faucet but clear and thin), and the other stuffed up so I can hardly breathe. I have a little bit of a sore throat because of the drainage, and the start of a cough (the drainage has gone on for a few days so that's self-explanatory).I have a great deal of sinus pressure and it has developed into a massive headache in the last 4 hours. I took some Excedrine but it hasn't made a difference and it always works on my sinus headaches. It is almost to the point of me being dizzy and even trying to think hard enough to explain my symptoms is painful. I have a small in-home daycare, only 2 kids this morning so I can't just call in sick when I'm not having a great day. I took a store brand Claratin this morning too. What can I do, if anything, besides going to the doctor? I don't think it's an infection so I don't know what my doctor could even really do... HELP!!!

my bf, the love of my life, is currently deployed. I miss him like crazy. Every fiber of my being aches for the day ill be back in his arms. If you're not an army gf or wife or in a long distance relationship then you have no idea how hard this is. I don't write him handwritten letters very often, but want him to know i didn't forget valentine's day (how could i right?) but I am blanking on what to say... we usually talk on yahoo messenger with an email here and there when he has time. Is it just torturous to tell him how much I really miss him or would it prove how much i love him? I have heard mixed results from people and just want a definative answer! The last thing i want is to make the last 2 months he has over there harder...

yes- tell him how much i miss his smile, the way his eyes light up when i smile at him, that i miss his arms wrapped around me tight making me feel safe and warm, etc...

no- tell him i love him and miss him without going into detail.

i dated my high school boyfriend for over a year and a half. we broke up when he went off to college in a different city. we hooked up a few times, then i decided we needed to just be friends or nothing at all. he didnt wanna lose me all together so he said we could just be friends. I found my current boyfriend and we just hit our one year mark, but he is in the army and deployed right now. my ex and i still are trying to be friends, but every time we hang out, he tries to cuddle with me and feel me up! i hate my current bf being gone, i am pathetically lonely and my ex is trying to take advantage. but i will not cheat. my ex is a good guy, my parents still want me back with him, but we just aren't meant for each other. i get that, he has said he gets it, but idk if he really does.

how do i tell my ex to back the f off without ruining the friendship? is it possible? HELP ME!!!

how do i calm down the bride a year before the wedding??

my older sister is getting married in april of 2013, I am the maid of honor and am really looking forward to helping her plan everything. the problem? I know nothing about being a MOH. we have a bunch of other family stressers right now, our parents are separated and it doesn't look like they will be getting back together. she is so stressed already just trying to find the perfect venue in or near a hotel since most of her wedding guests will be from out of town. I am trying to keep her calm and remind her that we still have over a year to plan everything, but it is not really helping.

I just want to know how to calm her down. I thought about buying her a gift certificate for a massage, but i don't have much money right now and i doubt it would help her relax anyway. i would try to take her out for a drink, but i'm only 19 right now. her wedding is the friday after my 21st birthday. help!!!

I have a 2000 dodge stratus, my driver side rear seat belt is basically stuck, locked in place. According to a guy at a local auto parts store, its the mechanism that is messed up, the seat belt itself is fine. According to the guy at our local Dodge dealership, I have to order a completely new seat belt. I am trying to find out if it is something I can do myself or if I have to take it to the dealership to install it. I know next to nothing about cars, but am willing to give it a shot if it isn't horrendously difficult. If anyone can offer suggestions on how to install it or can tell me to just forget it cause there's no way a 19 year old girl that has no clue what she's doing could do it alone, that would be great! Thanks!

We have dated since december of 2008... We took a break the last 2 weeks of May cause we were both really stressed about our senior finals and graduating. we got back together and ever since, we went to 2 movies and all other times I got to see him were at my house and he barely spoke. I am not like stuck up or anything, but I think I deserve more than a guy that doesn't really love me... And I thought he did love me until I confronted him about my feelings. He said that his definition of love changed and that he could no longer say that he loves me. It completely shattered my heart. I know that it will be better in the long run, but after over a year and a half, I miss him. I feel so empty... I don't know what to do... Help!

My boyfriend and I started dating in december of 2008. We broke up (mutually) because we were constantly unhappy. After two weeks of being "friends" we went on an experimental date to see if we should get back together. We went to a movie and ended up kissing for a good portion of it. After the movie, we decided that we were back together and we hung out for about a half hour but he didn't say a word during that whole time. It's been a couple days and he has barely said anything. What should I do?

My boyfriend and i have been together for over a year and are both high school seniors. we both have school and part-time jobs, so i rarely get to see him out-side of school anymore and our relationship has been very strained lately. He has a friend (whom i have never met) that asked him to go to prom with her... just as friends... because no one else would. I know that i wouldn't want to go to prom alone and it is the week before my school's prom so it doesn't interfere, but still. He basically asked for my permission last night and i didn't really know what tell him. I love him and trust him, but i don't really trust her. I don't know her and i've never even heard him mention her name before. i know how teens dance at proms and i don't want some chick grinding all over my boyfriend. I refuse to tell him what to do, it is his life, but is my jealousy unjust? If he goes, I can't really stop him, but is it understandable to feel so worried about it? Should i just brush it off?
