  • Good areas in North Georgia to use a telescope?

    I live in N. Georgia, Kennesaw to be exact. I love to star gaze and use my telescope as often as possible but living so close to the city limits my viewing because of light pollution. Are there any good dark areas north of me but not too far that I can get views of a lot of stars!?

  • What should my next telescope be?

    I currently have a Celestron 114EQ Reflector. I've had this scope for a little over a year and have learned a lot with. I want to upgrade but I am not sure what Telescope would be my next step. I would like to be able see planets/star clusters little larger and with more detail and also galaxies/nebulae if possible.
