He and I have been friends for 7 years but he's in a 2 year relationship. He and i were just talking as friends about random stuff and we got into very deep intellectual conversations and I mentioned some things i guess we can say that he liked, and he said that "i think i'm in love". Do you think he was just saying that as a joke or maybe possibly in love?

When I'm with friends or busy with task I still think about him however the feelings have gone. He broke my trust for him. And I think about how much better I deserve but when I see him, I get those butterfly feelings and how I felt for him before comes back. Is this normal?
