What is the best business visa to obtain? USA?
Hi, I was just wondering what would be the best visa to obtain? I have a friend over in the states and in around 2 years I want to set up a business there. The business will be computer repairs operating from his place. So to start with I wouldn't have to pay rent, just contribute towards bills and would need to get a drivers licence to go and get the machines off the customers. Is there anything I can do from here (England) now to prepare or start up / establish the business with his help? Thanks for any help!
6 AnswersImmigration7 years agoMotorcycle restrictions UK?
Hi, I have just been on the DVLA website and was gutted to find out I have missed out on the chance of getting a 400cc by a year. Upon completing the A1 do you then have to wait until you're 23 to take your A2? Are there any fast track courses? I'm 16, 17 next month. I really want a big bike, I love two wheels. However, I don't quite fancy another year of holding up traffic. Thanks for any help!
3 AnswersMotorcycles8 years agoHelp with F1 visa please?!?
Hi, I can get accepted into the college and have already checked everything I need to know, however I have a problem with the funds, I will have money for the airline ticket both ways and about $1500 spending money. I will be staying with a friend who is providing free everything and is even going to pay the fees, the problem is they're in America, could I still get one as I have access to the sufficient funds? Thanks.
2 AnswersImmigration8 years agoAcademic year in America (AYA) anybody know?
Hi, I have recently come across this programme http://www.academicyear.org/ It seems absolutely perfect for me, as I don't know what yet to do in college here in the UK (you get it free if you enrol before you're 19) so I thought it would be a good years break. If any people have read my previous questions I'm sure you'll know I have a deep interest for America. They say you exchange your culture with an American family, although I may be British we still have a different culture. I only say this because when it says contact your local office, I am unable to as they do not have an office in England, I have sent three e-mails, one to the American base, to a French speaking office, and to the one in Germany all 3 in their native language. I have not yet received a reply from one and these where sent a lot earlier in the month. Just wondering if anybody from the UK has done this or would know if I can do this? Thanks a lot :)

2 AnswersMotorcycles8 years agoSouth African citizenship through family?
Hi, my Dad used to live in south Africa and is a citizen, although it does not state this on his passport. He has proof of citizenship i.e; licence, I.D card, possibly an old passport. If he applied for another south African passport would this then give me the right to become one applying outside of Africa? How would we do this and what would be the costs and expected duration? Thanks
1 AnswerImmigration9 years agoThe sufficient funds for F1 visa USA?
I really don't understand the sufficient funds for USA, I know to be granted a visa for New Zealand you just have to prove you have enough money for the first years tuition. U.S universities are quite costly so do you need the whole tuition funds? The whole living expenses (accommodation, food, insurance)?

Hi, six years ago we looked at moving to New Zealand, specifically the Waikato area. We tried doing it through an agency; however, all we wanted was something in black and white to say my Mum had a job. Her job was and still is on the list for skilled occupation and immediate and she has passed the nursing exam for New Zealand (of which we have paperwork for). We are looking into it again now and are going to file our expression of interest which we have got 260 points on. We are applying for the permanent visa and are just wondering how long they take? Also I'm in my last year of high school so if issued before I finish could we go after my GCSE's? June/July. Thanks.

5 AnswersImmigration9 years agoIf I were to be a tv host could I move to America?
I'm an extremely talkative guy and love speaking to different people. Just debating future options, if I studied journalism or broadcasting and I got a job as a tv host, is this a good enough job for me to move to America?
2 AnswersReality Television9 years agoWho thinks this could be a good immigration law?
Okay so does anyone else think that as long as you have the sufficient funds and at least a bachelors degree you should be able to move to either country and search for work whilst your there? I think it should be easier. There are far too many unqualified EU immigrants in the UK why not let more skilled Americans in and more skilled English in the USA?This would be just for Brits and Americans.
4 AnswersOther - Politics & Government9 years agoSufficient funds, student F1 visa - USA?
Hi I know I ask too much about visas but here goes. Instead of going to college in the UK I want to attend the final two years of an American high school. I have heard the public schools are free and have found someone to house me for next to nothing. This being said would I have the "sufficient fee's" to be approved of an F1 visa?
3 AnswersStudying Abroad9 years agoWhy are Indian people so generous?
Just wondering, know it might sound stupid but even the local takeaway (Indian owned) they always give you huge portions even if it's for one person and give away free stuff! Are all or the majority of Indian people like this?:)
3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoWhat is the easiest trade to use to get into America?
I am finishing high school this year, my life ambition is to some day live in America, what job should I aim for after college and university to almost definitely getting accepted into the country? Also how much experience should I have? Is there an age barrier of when your too old to go out and meet new people in cities such as NYC?
