What was Fidel Ramos like?
I always hear talks of Marcos, Cory, Arroyo and the current one we have. Yet, I never hear of him.
For those who lived during his tenure, how was he like? Was he good? bad? Do you think he's underrated? Thanks in advance.

12 AnswersPhilippines1 decade agoGuitar chords for Chirstmas Carols?
I keep seeing little kids coming in front of my house and singing in unison while beating a can with a stick then asking for money. This is very adorable but not at all times though.
Sometimes a group would come up front, beat their cans slowly and sing in a very dull manner. "In front of your house, we sing this for you. Merry Christmas...(incomprehensible words)" like they want to just get it over with or something.
I could easily give them a peso to drive them away but come on! I can't give them money if they sound like bored litlle elois!
What I plan to do is strum my guitar loudly and persuade them to sing at least one song in a lively manner so I can have a reason for giving them money.
Please help me...

If your reading this right now, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR CONCERN!
Anyway this just gonna be real simple. All you have to do is answer this simple question:
What is your favorite anime? (Answer just one please)
Once submitting your answer, Look for the other answers this question received. If you like the anime mentioned by a certain answerer, give it a thumbs-up.
The answerer with the LEAST number of thumbs-UP will get the best answer.
It would be very kind if you click a that star thingy over there.
20 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoDo you think the Philippine Music Industry needs the US mainstream to gain worldwide recognition ?
I think Filipino bands should be popular around the world too. Europe's music became popular because of the Beatles and Japan's music too because of the distribution of Sukiyaki and Anime their place.
I know there's the Internet but what I'm trying to say is Pinoy music(or at least the pinoy style of music) should be played on radio in many other countries as well as in Ipods and MP3's of foreigners aside from ones in SE Asia.
Is there any better way than in the US?

21 AnswersPhilippines1 decade agoWill there come a time when the pan de sal becomes bite-size?
Pandesal (or pan de sal; literally, salt bread) is a rounded bread usually eaten by Filipinos during breakfast
Anyway, A few weeks ago I had pandesal for breakfast and I got really surprised when I saw how small it was. A pandesal is usually as wide as a teacup but it shrunked 1/3 it's original size. The whole darn bread could even fit in my mouth.
I ask our maid why and she said flour is getting more expensive. If they maintain it to it's original size it would cost two or even three pesos.
I have noticed other products getting smaller too. Junk Foods, Bicsuits, Fishes, Detergent Bars are a few of them. But something separates them from the pandesal and that is...they get more expensive.
Why are products getting smaller but getting more expensive?
