What UAE citizens and expats think of Kuwait policy of prioritizing citizens at hospitals?
I read on yahoo news that expats may not visit hospitals in the morning in Kuwait because citizens didnt like waiting in lines like everyone else.
Expats may visit hospital only in the evenings so I suppose a 9 month pregnant with her contractions would have to plead with the baby to hold on for a few more hours, or a construction worker better have plenty of ice for his severed arm if he wants it reattached at his designated evening appointment.
I have my issues with Emiratization , on one hand I agree that Emiratis need a push to go into the workforce and learn the skills required for them to compete in a knowledge economy. However you cant unteach a sense of entitlement and laziness if there are penalties for the EMPLOYER not the employee if the latter is chastised for non performance. UAE nationals are a capable people as seen from various brilliant university graduates but oil wealth has been a net curse than net blessing as it has made them soft, pampered and entitled.
That said, so far that is pretty much the only beef that expats have with citizens in this country.
In my dealings with Emiratis to use anecdotal evidence, be they police or other government officials they have been very fair.
A couple of years back I was involved with an accident with an Emirati lady while she was attempting a right turn from the left lane on a roundabout struck my vehicle in the middle lane.
She was so confident that she was in the right that she insisted on calling the police herself and try and sweet talk them in Arabic but the police sided with me despite her national status as I was right. Case closed
This to me is the diff between Emiratis, Omanis and Kuwaitis
I could never live in that hell hole Kuwait. To think that many of those suffering expats were Americans, the country known for liberating their pampered a$$es from the tyrant Saddam!
I would advise Americans to withdraw their military protection and civilian residents from that area and take a page out of the Kuwait handbook and prioritize Kuwaits into defending their own country and not outsource such a prestigious job for foreigners.
Americans should no longer be the Mamluks or slave soldiers of Arab states.
6 AnswersUnited Arab Emirates8 years agoWhere do divorced Emirati women congregate?
In my previous question , I inquired of the possibility of dating young Emirati women who were open and willing.
But after ...going to 2nd base with one of them to use a euphemism with one of them,I found out to my horror that she was married.
I don't want to go through this again. So I would rather date divorced women as it is safer
Please tell me where they are likely to hang out

4 AnswersUnited Arab Emirates8 years agoDating an Emirati woman-I am an Indian male?
Hi,
In my new line of work ,I often visit various government buildings and banks and come across attractive and flirtatious Emirati women. Recently a couple of them offered me their number and another her BB pin.
I am flattered but I dont know what to do with this. This type of pairing is rare- Indian man local woman and is not encouraged for various reasons. Jealous brothers, woman's name in society.
However they are attractive and one way of knowing the culture is knowing the women of the area.
So I am torn
I am not the typical "maskeen" type humble drone Indian male many stereotype here. I am well spoken(with an American accent), well dressed and groomed and can pass off as a GCC person in my appearance.
What do you recommend?
Note: Emirati people-please dont be upset with what I described. I am not saying all your women are so bold or that even these women are immoral.
