  • Why do the Media keep pushing racism?

    Is it only because it's sensational and sells papers, etc? Or is it because the owners of the big media empires are racist?

    Example 1. Last week, there were two publicized stabbings in Melbourne, both after dark. One was a caucasian guy and was passed off as "random violence / mugging, the other was an Indian guy and was headlined as "racially motivated" (causing some uproar from India)

    Example 2. KFC has been running advertisements during the cricket (some rather witty) but have been forced to pull one of them (one involving giving KFC to a noisy group of West Indies supporters, who are avid cricket fans, to quieten them during the cricket). Why was it pulled? Some United States media ran it with a subtitle about "placating African-Americans with fried chicken" (once again, they were NOT African Americans, they were West Indies supporters in Australia)

  • What time does yahoo answers change to the next day?

    Is it midnight? And which time zone? I'm from Australia and keep running out of answers, then log on the next morning and it's still the same day (according to yahoo answers)
