My passport was just recently lost in a flood that we had. I am traveling to mexico in 6 days. I have my green card. I can not get my south african passport renewed in this amount of time. I am looking for anybody who has maybe traveled to mexico lately with their green card if it was even possible. I called united airline and i can board the plane with just my green card. My problem is entering mexico. I also called usa immigration and i can re-enter the usa with just my green card. Is there a emergency travel document i can get from a mexican consulate that can help me? I am not looking for any smart *** answers, i know i am probably out of luck here but would really appreciate any help
