ear infection or sinus infection?
I am not sure what the feeling of an ear infection or sinus infection is because I have never had one but I have had a head ache for 3 days and both my ears have alot of pressure in them. When I bend over to pick something up, my head feels like it weighs a ton and i get even more pressure in my ears. I have also had a headache for a few days and my nose is starting to feel pressure. I don't want to go to the doctors unless I have to so has anyone had these symptoms and know what they are from? Thank you. Serious answers only please!

8 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agohow much formula is your 3 month old eating?
I have 3 month old twins. My daughter has been eating 6oz every 3 hours and sleeping through the night. My son was eating 6oz every 3 hours but then started getting hungry every 2 hours so I started giving him 8oz every 3 hours and he is acting normal. Im wondering if 8oz is too much for a 3 month old? Im not sure how much he weighs now but at 2 months hes was about 11lbs.

7 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoHow long does/did your 6 week old sleep?
I have 6 week old twins and I was wondering how long your baby(ies) slept when they were 6 weeks old. Last night was the first night they both slept all night. They are pretty much on the same schedule just 30 minutes different. Ex. daughter wakes to eat at 6am and son wakes at 630am to eat. Today my daughter at at 6am then she ate at 930 then 130 and then 7pm. It seemed to be really spread out and she slept in between even though she slept all night. My son ate more frequently and was awake more.
7 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoDoes your 2 year old do this?
My son will be 2 in March and lately he has been sticking his hands down his pants and playing with his pee pee. Some people say it is normal but I didnt know how much was too much. I cant tell if he does it just because I keep telling him to stop or just because hes bored? Does anyone have a child that has done this? I dont want rude answers, only serious ones please.

3 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agobaking soda vs. baking powder?
I just went to the store and bought everything I needed to make oatmeal raisin cookies. Well I just realized that I needed baking soda but I bought baking powder. Instead of running back to the store is there anyway to substitute with the powder or something else? I know baking soda and baking powder have different results but I am just looking for a shortcut/substitute. Thank you
5 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agohow many ounces should a 1 month old be drinking?
I have 1 month old twins and I have been pumping because it is just so hard to feed them both off the breast especially when they act starving even after eating off the breast for an hour. I have a 2 year old and he was exclusively breastfed for 7-8 months so I dont have much experience with supplementing and pumping. How many ounces does a normal 1 month old drink and when do you know to raise the ounces? My son is 9lbs 7.6oz and was drinking 4 but just started drinking almost 6 but Im wondering if this is normal or too much for him. My daughter is 8lbs 2oz and drinks 4ounces. Thank you
8 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago2 year old not listening very well?
My son will be 2 in March and I just had twins in January. I try to include my son in many things with the twins like diaper changes, feedings, reading them books and tummy time but when I am busy with them and he is just playing he tends to not listen to me and get into things that he shouldnt be getting into (dishwasher, climbing on changing table or kitchen table etc.) The other day he took his pull-up off and climbed in the babys bassinet and pee'd in it even though he knows he needs to pee in the toilet. I am trying to be very patient with him but with him not listening, it gets very frustrating. I raise my voice to be stern but not to yell. Does anyone have an ideas or suggestions. Thank you
8 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agocould my twins have thrush?
I know that breast milk and formula can stay on the back of the tongue but my sons tongue is white all over and theres some white spots on his lip and roof of his mouth. My daughters tongue is white as well but not at bad and it isn't anywhere else in her mouth. My cousins said this is probably thrush. Has your child ever had thrush? What does it look like? Does it hurt the baby enough to make them cry?
6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agomixing breast milk and formula in a bottle?
I have 1 month old twins and breastfeeding has not been going as planned. I am pumping and I wonder how to mix formula and breast milk in a bottle. If I want 4 ounces total and I do 2 ounces of formula and 2 ounces of breast milk then do I just do 2 ounces of water with 1 scoop of formula then add breast milk until I hit 4 ounces or do I use breast milk as part of the water and do 2 ounces of water and 2 ounces of breast milk then 2 scoops of formula?
9 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agobrown watery discharge 2 weeks after having twins?
I know it sounds gross but I have stopped bleeding but now I am getting a brown watery discharge. If I am standing up when it leaks out it feels like I am peeing but I know it isn't pee. Ive been waiting for the bleeding to go away and now this! My twins are almost 2 weeks old. I know that it is possible to bleed longer because of the twin factor but this isn't bleeding. It is gross and I am so sick of it! Anyone else had this experience or any nurses with advice? I didn't have this with my first son and I plan to call my doctors on Monday.
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoadvice on breastfeeding twins?
I had twins this past Monday and I am breastfeeding them. I was wondering if anyone had any good advice on breastfeeding. My nipples are very sore because they don't get a break and it was different when I breastfed my first son because it was only him. I know the people at the hospital say it isn't suppose to hurt but I am not sure if they hurt because of improper latch or just because they don't get a break. Any advice would be awesome!
7 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agohospital stay with twins?
I am going into the hospital on Monday to be induced because I will be 39 weeks pregnant with twins. I am wondering if mothers with twins stay any longer than a mother with a singleton. My twins are weighing in at approx. 6lbs and 7lbs and everything seems great so we are hoping for no complications.

I am very pregnant with twins and my hips are seriously killing me. This just started last night but is getting worse. Last night I had really bad cramps but once I went pee they sorta went away. My doctors are planning to induce me on Monday if I don't go by then. I am just wondering if anyone who has had twins has gone as long as 39 weeks and do you think the hip pain is my hips opening up to let these babies out!!!
