Hi, I know that question sounds odd, but I'm writing a book (big surprise huh?) and I'm asking the community for some help. In the book I'm writing two children live in a society ruled with an iron fist. Nobody has the resources they need to survive anymore. Things are typically stolen and even the most common medicines are sold via corrupt black market. My question is why the country could have been left like this. Was it just the collapse of an unstable economy? Maybe followed by the invasion of another country? (Maybe communism plays a role?) I realize I already have some ideas, but I don't have enough knowledge on past history or current events to write something that could realistically happen, and that's where I need some help! If anyone could help me figure this out, or has any new ideas, or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you everyone!!!

Okay so this is probably pretty easy but I'm not sure. I'm going to use oxygen (O) for my question: is it O+2 or O2+ is that add 2 protons or take away 2 electrons Is there a difference? Is one add protons and the other take away electrons or the other way around?

Okay so for the past 3 or 4 days, I have not been able to quench my thirst. I checked my blood sugar constantly, and was never higher than 150 or so. I keep drinking water with electrolytes and it will help more, but I'm still really thirsty. Even days I'm not very active, I still can't quench my thirst. (I am really active though. [Training for track and swim team]) Am I just using up all of my electrolytes. Is ther any way to stop being so thirsty during/after being active? And why was I so thirsty for the last couple of days when I was resting?

Any answers/suggestions would be great!!!

Oh and sience I have type 1 diabetes, I haven't been quenching my thirst (or trying to anyways) with anything with carbs/sugar. Just water.

At first I thought he might be going through a phase, but now he is avoiding kids all together. (Again I thought he might just be shy) but then he started saying rude things about the other kids he avoided. ex: Oh I'm so much smarter than 'blank'. I don't want to be with him! He's always mean to me! (I believed him, until I started working at his daycare this summer, and realized he is on the computer ALL DAY...) And the kid he said was 'mean' is one of the nicest kids I know He constantly is trying to include my brother (and other kids) in what he is doing. He is also very polite, not mean. He also says that this kids always run away from him when he tries to play, (which I noticed is not true) I thought maybe kids were being nice since I was there, so I asked the typical daycare provider to pay attention to weather the kids were nice to him or not (and we agreed [after checking with my mom] to restrict him from the computer after lunchtime) and we agreed that the kids were friendly to him, and he didn't have trouble interacting with other kids, but he preferred to be with one child in particular, which is fine, but he is still semi-rude to the other kids, and lies about "none of them liking him." I can't tell if he's rude, shy, or if he doesn't like the kids in general. (Oh, and the kid that 'ran away from him' is one of his best friends now (due to some encouragement) so again, I don't know if he's shy, rude, or if maybe he's making presumptions about people (and no one wants him to do this when he goes to kindergarten)

Anyways, sorry this was so long. thanks for reading and for any help! And my parents know about the situation, but we can't discipline him for being shy, and encouragement helps, but we can't be there at kindergarten.

I want to make an anime that is thirty minutes long, that is about 50 episodes long. I know I could hand draw every small movement, but there has to be an easier way!!! I haven't done this before, but I'm doing my research. As much detail as possible would be helpful.

My eyes were brown when I was little, and now they are green with brown around the pupil

-When I'm mad my eyes are a brown/red color.

-When I feel stupid they are gold.

-With adrenaline they get closer to blue. Once when I was really hyper they turned blue. I considered the lighting, but the room I was in was fairly dim. I had someone jump over me for the adrenaline while two others watched and one of their mouthe's dropped, and the other said "Whoa! Your eyes are purple!" I looked in the mirror to see them fade from blue, back to their normal green color. Does anyone know why this is, and why it doesn't happen as frequently anymore. (It happened the most the last two years.)

I heard that you can change your eye color using hypnosis, but I don't have money to buy the download, and I do not feel safe downloading anything onto the computer. I am too worried about viruses. Does anyone know where I can listen to thy hypnosis, or know any tricks to change your eye colour without contacts? Thanks <3

Well... I've liked a guy for a year and about a quarter (Sad that I keep track of this... ) and I can hardly talk to him. I'm in 8th grade, and want to be at least friends with him before high school... We are bolth in (Advanced) Math and band class. We have Spanish 1 together and we're both in track. I've heard that he skateboards, and does BMXing ( Like me ) And well anyways, does anybody have tips for me to mabey talk to him? I am EXTREMELY shy... Pwease pwease hewp me... Thanks. <3

My neighbor also can only get to sleep at 2 am, and gets up at six for school. Even on weekends, she gets no more than six hours of sleep a Night. She has depression, and anxiety, and is going to be seeing a shrink soon, but is there anything else that can be done? She's trying to go to sleep at ten, to start a new sleep routine, and does anyone know how long the new routine will take to start affecting her? even if none of these questions are answered, thank you so much for your time!

I think I have adhd, and I know I have anxiety. Sometimes I hallucinate. I will utterly believeve I am in one place, when usually I will be safe at home. I completely beleive the hallucination is real until it is over. I have watched my little brother die in front of me too many times to count, and I will have beieved it was real, until it is over. Then I will realize I am safe at home. It isn't that bad if I am with people, like at school. Caffeine calms me down and makes me less stressed, unless I have like a whole cup of coffee, then I'm really hyper like any 13 year old would be. I am seeing a doctor about adhd in a couple of weeks, but is hallucinating adhd related, being type 1 diabetic,or something else. If anyone has any ideas about weather Im crazy, schizophrenic or what, please tell me!

She is only 12, and has already had sex. And later her boyfriend abused her. Now they aren't going out anymore, but she feels cheeted, lost and deppressed. I'm really close to her and I want to help but I'm not sure how. (I've listened without judging her, and I'm going to try helping her with her diet. [She's thin and thinks she's fat.] and I will try to help her the way my mom helps me with my anxiety.) Any suggestions to help my poor friend? I would appretiate it, and thank you for your time.
