I bought a 2014 Mazda 6 exactly 14 days ago and have already had problems. The engine light has come on twice, once after the car stopped itself while I was backing out of the driveway. I disregarded these and found excuses for why it happened because it is a brand new car. Today the car, its automatic, seemed to be having problems switching gears and eventually stopped responding to me pushing on the gas pedal. I stopped and restarted the car which fixed the problem long enough for me to get home, but when I put the car in park the master warning light came on and gave me a warning message of "AT Malfunction." This means that there is a problem with the transaxle, a major component of the transmission. I have not signed the final loan agreement papers on this car yet and was wondering what would be better, returning the car to the dealer and demanding another one, or trying to repair my current car. It has 1478 miles on it and all but 11 of those miles I have put on it. I do not drive fast or punch the gas pedal. I have been very careful with this car and I'm very angry about this problem I'm having.

I am on these drugs: Beyaz (birth control), Phentermine 37.5 (appetite control), Phendemetrazine (appetite control), a prenatal vitamin as a dialy vitamin I AM NOT PREGNANT, and Metformin (regulates insulin). No I am NOT diabetic. I am also temporarily on Cefdinir for strep throat.

I had my tonsils out months ago, since then I have not had strep throat until now. I used to get the infection so often that I no longer present with symptoms until the strep throat has had a significant amount if time to grow and get comfortable (about 3 weeks.) I went to the doctor 2 days ago for an ear ache and tested positive for strep throat with the rapid test in the office (extremely uncommon, that's how I know I've had it for at least 3 weeks) and was prescribed the cefdinir to treat it which is was I always get. I normally feel much better by day 3 but this time I don't. I feel worse every day when before I started the antibiotics I wasn't feeling bad at all. Just very tired, but I chocked that up to a lack of calories because the two appetite suppressants I listed up there have me only eating a small amount of food one time a day. Let's say, 6 oz of chicken and a cup of some sort if green vegetable, and 99% of the time I can't even finish that. Are there any medicines I'm taking that be causing the antibiotics to not work properly or less effectively? I know antibiotics change the effectiveness of birth control, that's not my question. I feel awful and I just can't seem to take enough Tylenol and ibuprofen to help myself. As I am typing this it is 2:05 in the afternoon, I cannot sleep. Yesterday I layed down around 5 pm and was only able to sleep for 30-45 minutes at a time because of the pain in my ears. I fought with myself until 10 pm and finally got up. I have been awake ever since, trying like mad to just get some rest. Any advice is more than welcomed. I can't handle this much longer! I'm going insane! HELP MEEEE!!!!

On Tuesday, my poodle was bitten by my daucshund around 11:30 pm. The daucshund left a visible hole in my poodles front right leg, which I didn't notice until I took my poodle to the vet the next day (6:30 pm) because of excessive swelling in her bittin leg. The vet said the leg was not broken, but badly infected. My poodle was given a penicillin shot, a shot of a pain killer, a 10 day supply of antibiotics, antacids, and pain medications. The vet also cleaned the wound with betadine and sprayed an alcohol like disinfectant on it, also sent home with us. My poodle is very old (about 15) and she has trouble finding her way around the house anyway because she has gone blind from cataracts. She is also nearly def and sleeps most of the day and night. I have been feeding her wet dog food (they normally have dry food left out 24/7) with a calorie booster (she weighs 10 pounds, very thin for her size. She needs to weigh about 13) and occasionally some bland food like boiled chicken or a hard boiled egg (vet recommended). I haven't been giving her the pain pills as she doesn't seem to be in too much pain anymore. She is terribly constipated and I can't seem to get her to drink water, even when I put it in her mouth with a syringe she will just spit it out. Recently she has been throwing up everything she eats, about 4 hours ago I gave her a hard boiled egg and her antibiotics for the day. She seemed very happy and normal until just a few minutes ago (its 5:45) when she threw up the egg in whole pieces, like it hadnt digested at all. I am very worried about her as she is the first dog I ever had. I know she is old and her time is coming, but as for now, does the bite have anything to do with her vomiting? Is there anything I can do to get her to drink more water or at least poop? I have been giving her antibiotics and antacids on time, she eats before every pill, and she has no pre-existing conditions. Thank you! Also, the dog that bit her had her teeth cleaned 2 weeks ago.

I got a tattoo on my foot exactly 7 days ago and it's so so so itchy. I know not to scratch it and I haven't been, I've been putting aquaphor and regular lotion + face moisturizer on it to keep it from itching but in the middle of the night I caught myself scratching at my tattoo with my other foot, I stopped myself as soon as I realized what I was doing but now I'm worried about it being spotty or displacing the ink and it looking like sh*t. How worried should I be? Any suggestions on how to keep myself from doing damage in the middle of the night?

I've been feeling uneasy all day and eventually threw up what seemed like everything I had in my stomach. Now, I'm feeling much better but I still have a sharp pain in my stomach and I have a lot of gas (in the form of burps). I absolutely hate throwing up and would love any advice on how to keep it from happening again. I'm pretty sure I threw up everything I've eaten in the last 6 months, but I know you can still vomit bile and the small amounts of water I've been drinking. Thanks!

I've had my nose pierced for about a year and 6 months now and it continues to constrict whenever I leave my nose ring out for a long period of time (never more than 6-7 hours). It doesn't ever completely close up, but it hurts like hell to (literally) shove my nose ring back through. What's the deal? It's very healthy and healed very quickly after the initial piercing. Thanks!

Alright, so today I found a black widow in my garage and I sprayed the hell put of it and then squashed it and put it in a closed trash bag. I sprayed it's web pretty good, and didn't find any egg sacs, but I wasn't exactly looking for any. I have a small child and 2 small dogs. Should I be worried about more widows inside my house? We're planning on moving soon and haven't sprayed for bugs in about 4 months. We have small ants around our trash can in the garage but I haven't noticed any other problems but a small spider here and there, like I would see every so often even if I had sprayed. If I happened to miss the egg sac and it hatches, what can I do to kill all 4 million of the little bastards that will be running around my garage?
