  • My keyboard won't stop making this sound everytime I press a key...?

My keyboard has recently started making a sharp kind of beeping sound every single time I press a key. It's really irritating and stressful, and nothing I've found so far seems to fix it.

I have a Dell Latitude D630 (If anyone answers 'buy a mac' or something like that, yes, I'm well aware I am going to need a far better computer at some point, but money doesn't grow on trees). I've tried disabling sticky keys, going through the whole 'ease of access' process in the control panel, and nothing at all has worked. Currently I have the PC Speakers on mute because that is the only thing that makes the noise stop, but I obviously can't keep it like that forever.

If anyone could give me some help, that'd be great.

  • Maths Question's? Help?

    Please show working.

    1) Mr and Mrs Number are going to put a 48 square metres of land into a rectangular garden.

They want the garden fenced up so it will be $324 less than the most expensive garden area option.

The netting for the fence costs $5.40 a metre.

What dimensions should they make the garden?

What will the netting cost for a garden of this size?

    2) Hexa has been given an after school job. She is to take care of her mother's hens and dogs. For her efforts, Mrs Gon has offered Hexa $10 per week or, a monthly wage.

She could pay Hexa a monthly wage of $1 per hen and $2 per dog. Before deciding her options, Hexa wanted to know how many hens and how many dogs she had to look after. Mrs Gon told her that there would be a total of 42 mouths to feed, and that there were a total of 100 legs to exercise.

Work out how much Hexa would get per month, then decide which option gives Hexa more pocket money.

    3) I was waiting in line to get into the Bledisloe Cup game. I noticed that there were five more people ahead of me in the line than there were behind me. Altogether there were four times as many people in the line as there were behind me.

How many people in the line are in front of me?

    4) Each symbol stands for a different digit.

    163

    x ▲♦(Insert Line underneath here)

    65▲

    3▲60 (Insert Line underneath here)

    3♠1▲

Find the digits that make this example true.

Thanks in advance for anyone that answers :)
