I need help with linux I/O redirection. I wrote this command: $ cat < file234.sh.

file234.sh contains:filelist.sh filescat.sh.

The output from the cat command was filelist.sh

filescat.sh

I was expecting the command to concatenate the contents of the files filelist.sh and filescat.sh and print the result.

Please tell me why it doesn't work.

I have windows 7 and realteck network card and when I connect it to the switch it says : " network carble unplugged".When I connect directly to the internet it works fine.I tried with other computers with this cable and this switch and they worked so something else is wrong here.Please help!

I have gericom blockbuster xcellent 7000 laptop and in the bios I have high performance mode option (disabled or enabled).What does this option do?In the manual of the computer I couldn't find any explanation.

A friend has something that resembled compressed air but it shoots some form of liquid and the dust melts.Do you know what that can be?I really don't like compressed air because it blows the dust all over the place.

If I'm not connected to the internet by cable it boots fine, otherwise it frezees at HP logo screen which I guess it's the B.I.O.S. Please help me! Thanks!

I have an ip camera connected to a router.I've done port forwarding and I can access the camera by typing the external ip address of the router in a browser.The problem is I have dynamic external ip.Is there any other free solution available besides freeDNS services?I was thinking of routing the private ip address of the camera directly to the internet and since I don't use dhcp for my network that address would be static and easy to remember.

I don't really like freedns services because I have to leave my computer on all the time.

Is this corporation trustworthy? In the past I got cheated by many corporations so I'm afraid to try again with this one. They ask me to pay a small sum of money before they'll give me the loan and it seems like a scam to me.

I have a subaru forester(2007 model) and there is a weak sound coming from my rear speakers even if I turn the volume up. I think the subwoofer is hooked with the same wires because it doesn't produce sound either.The fronts are loud and clear.Any suggestions?All is stock

I had a dual boot system (Ubuntu and Windows XP) and I wanted to delete Ubuntu so I deleted the partition it used but now system won't boot.It hangs at a screen called grub recovery.What can I do to restore only windows XP.

I have a Gericom blockbuster excellent 7000 and I installed all the drivers supplied with it including the wireless one and it appears there is no wireless card.I even checked in device manager and it appears only the lan adapter, there is no wireless card.I turned it on from the buttons and still no wireless.It's one of the highest rated gericom laptops, it should have wireless.

It's a recently released song in which the singer says something like: Give it to me , give it to me... .And the rest I can't remember.I think the main singer is a man and maybe there was a woman also.The genre is R@B I think.Please help me!I really like this song!

and what should I expect from off-road capability?Is the traction good enough?I saw a video where it gets stuck on a country road where I could have gone with my actual sedan car.I won't use it very much off-road though.What other similar models are better?

I have a Creative SoundBlaster Audigy soundcard with the latest drivers installed, windows XP, and a sorround system (Genius SW 5.1 Value like this http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-Genius-Genius-SW-5-1... ) and the actual problem is that I have no bass at all.I am sure the cables are connected correctly (there are three colored cables rear,front, and center/sub)and the latest drivers are installed!!!The subwoofer is not dead because it worked when I connected it to the front speaker green jack just to experiment.In control panel and in the software which came with this soundcard the speakers are set to 5.1 channel.There is no subwoofer enable or bass redirection option.Please help, I want to enjoy music with bass!

I'm looking for a cheap reliable laptop without all the fancy features like webcam,bluetooth, wireless and things like that.I will do just basic computing and I will NOT use the internet or games or photoshop.But what interests me is the laptop to last and to be of high quality.I will run small programs which require a quite good processor but I won't need dedicated graphics or bright display or fancy things like that.

I found an acer laptop with core2duo 2 gb ram etc, but it has onboard video.I'm going to render from time to time in a program called Artlandis studio.I'm not going to play games.Do you think it will be ok if it has onboard video?

PLease help me because all my friends say that I do but I don't think so.What's your opinion?
