Hey guys, since I am almost graduating high school and starting university after that, I am trying to debate in my head which of these universities are the better choice for me. I want to go into engineering specifically electrical. For those who know, can you guys give me a glimpse about these universities in terms of campus life, is it easy to socialize with others, how the first year is like, how is one better than the other, what do they lack in, what do they excel in you know those kinds of stuff. Just to add on to my question what would be a reasonable admission average that I will be satisfied about getting in.

I am a grade 10 and I just got my report card and showed it to my dad. He wasn't very happy how it showed that I have missed a couple like 1 or 2 school days. He also wasn't happy to see the number of times where I showed up late to class was also registered on the report card. I was late like once or twice. My dad told me how my absence and being late in school will affect me in my future like when I am applying for universities and jobs. Do universities look at my absence and late in school or will they just only look at my marks? Does applying for jobs also look at my histories in school too?

I've been teaching myself electronics now for about a year or so from reading books. But in every book it's always the same stuff that keeps repeating about all the electronic components and all that. And there's one thing that every book does not teach which is circuit designing. I want to invent my own electronics and I know about all the components and stuff but I don't know how to put them all together and actually design my own circuit. Can anyone please help me and tell me a book that would teach me this.
