Pacfans will Pacquiao destroy Mayweather?
If so, then shouldn't Mayweather be allowed a few weeks of recovery in the hospital before having to go to jail? Calling for Mayweather to fight Pacquiao a few days before he has to surrender to the courts tells me that you think Floyd is going to walk out of the fight un-touched, similar to his fight with Marquez. If you really think Pacquiao is going to destroy Mayweather then you all should support the May 5th fight and allow Floyd a few weeks of hospital time after the fight. Fighting at the end of May, then reporting to prison on June 1st is a ridiculous request when Mayweather is supposed to be fighting the "greatest fighter of all time" don't you think?
4 AnswersBoxing9 years agoMarquez vs Mosley match-up?
Let's assume that Pacquiao vs Maweather is signed and set for May 5th and Marquez is looking for a fight to stay busy and add to his legacy. What do you think of Marquez vs Mosley? Considering how well Marquez fought against Pacquiao last Saturday, do you think this is a good match-up and what do you think the outcome would be?
2 AnswersBoxing10 years agoBob Arum hurting Manny Pacquiao's Legacy?
Does anyone think that Bob Arum is starting to hurt Pacquiao's legacy with the match-making and catch-weight contracts he has implemented over the past few years? I think Pacquiao would have won all of the catch-weight fights if they were fought at the weight class limit, but Arum's decision to make a catch-weight fight leaves critics room to argue that Pacman was fighting dehydrated fighters. Also why is Arum putting Pacquiao in the ring with Clottey (who didn't deserve the fight), Mosley Marquez and Hatton after they were all dominated by Mayweather, Margarito after he was destroyed by Mosley, and De La Hoya at a weight he hadn't fought at in almost a decade. I even think the fight with Cotto was questionable since he was coming off of the devastating loss to Margarito. Pacquiao is doing his job by beating everyone put in front of him and I am not questioning Pacquiao's skills... I am questioning Bob Arum's choices as a promoter. Is greed influencing Arum's match-making since most of these fighters are Top Rank fighters? And now it looks like Arum is lining up Timothy Bradley for Pacman's next fight after Marquez instead of giving the boxing fans Pacquiao/Mayweather. I would like to hear your thoughts on Arum's impact on Pacquiao's legacy. Please don't make this a Pacquiao vs Mayweather argument, that is not what I am asking.
