  • Did any body else with aspergers have fears like this growing up?

When I was four I was sent to school for the first time and was really disruptive. My mother eventually found out this was because I had aspergers and took me out of normal school to put me in “special school”. When I was 7 it was decided I was sufficiently well behaved to re-enter the normal population.

By the time I was seven I understood what was wrong with me and believed on some level that my mother was only putting me back in normal school because she had to and someday when I was older I would be taken out of school and religted to whatever miserable place adults with aspergers go, well all my friends and classmates got to go on to live normal adult lives. As I got older this stayed with me and worsened as I became cynical and more self-aware with adolescence. When I was a teenager I use to slightly fear my birthdays because it meant I was getting ever closer to the day when my charade of a normal life was to collapse

  • would you complain if your child wet them self after a scare prank on a school fieldtrip?

when I was 11 we went on a school trip to an old Victorian factory near Manchester. At one point during the trip we where taken on a tour of this orphanage type place where the child labourers lived and went to school when they weren't working, and when we got to the loft (attic for Americans) the tour guide drew all the curtains and told us this story about two girls who tried to run away but ended having to comeback and as punishment they where locked in the loft for a week. Coincidentally the same week the women who run the orphanage type place died and had her body stored in the loft before burial.... and apparently the screaming of the girls disturbed the women's sole and prevented it from ever coming to rest. At this point in the story the tour guide banged her foot on floor and we all screamed.... and then laughed.... except for one girl who started to cry because she'd wet her self

  • do you think this would a be good way to make money?

I was thinking that a good way to make money would be to buy one single pedigree dog or maybe a wolf, to harvest it's sperm to cell on-line to people who want to create unusual dog cross breeds at home

  • Is this comment/joke I told racist?

recently I was talking in amongst a group of people one of who was a person belonging to a family originating in a Islamic country, lets call him.... Salim for I don't want to write his real name, at one point in the conversation I addressed Salim.... only I pronounced his name "Saloom" when some one else corrected me I decided to make this joke that popped in to my head

"Salim, Saloom..... Ali Baba whatever" Salim took offence to this and told me I was being "racist" but I insisted I wasn't, I told him that I was making fun the fact that "born and bread" westerns particularly English like me have a lot of trouble remembering and getting names from foreign cultures right, that's why the third name I picked was both stereotypically Islamic (at least from my cultural perspective) and sounded nothing like either his real name or my mispronunciation of it..... "if any thing my joke was racist against the English" I finished with. After I'd explained all this he still looked offended but dropped the subject
