I'm an 18 year old indian muslim girl living in Dubai. I just graduated from an all girls school and my parents do not like it when i talk to boys because they are very conservative. Well a few days ago my big brother hacked my account and found out that i have spoken to a lot of guys and he told my parents about it. He checked my message history and read each and everything i and my best friends have spoken about. Now my parents are really furious and they cancelled my admission to this amazing college i got accepted into and they want me to get engaged to this guy whom i really really not want to marry because all my life i've thought of him as my big brother and also because i'm too young and i don't want to marry until i'm like 25. The guy doesn't seem to have a problem and whenever hes around me he would always look me up and down which i don't like at all i've told my mom about it but she thinks i'm just making it up. My parents think hes a perfect guy for me because they know his family really well and also hes a well established engineer based in Dubai. Anyway so they want me to get engaged like after 2 months and then marry him after 2 years. They are getting me admitted into this stupid college here itself. and they've forced me to change my mobile number and have made sure that i'm in no contact with any of my girl friends because they think that they're bad company for me even though they don't have any hand in this. I just want to know if i have any rights to reget this marriage under islam and also somehow convince them to put me back into the college of my choice. Can i sue them or something?
