The bailout money (our money) was to only go to healthy banks. Barney intervened politically and helped out a bank that is on the way down. OneUnited bank in Boston was under attack from regulators for poor lending practices. (BTW, Barney has called for more regulation, even though he ignores the regulatory systems already in place.) They got 12 million due to the intercession of Barney, who is the head of the House Financial Services Committee. (BTW again, Barney, as head of this committee, assured everyone that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were healthy weeks before they collapsed.) It seems to me that the guy is either clueless or corrupt. Maybe he has learned from Illinois/Chicago politics.

I would like to set up a site that would be a forum for a particular subject. It would be supported by advertising. I realize that this is too long to answer here, but I would like to know of any websites or books that can give me guidance. I can figure how to set up a site on yahoo, but how do you set up a forum so people can dialogue? How to attract visitors? Etc.

It seems to me that this position benifits the child molester/rapist. Some 55 year old man can rape a 12 year old girl, get her pregnant, and brazenly force her to accompany him to an abortion clinic to kill her baby.

Ayers wrote a book in the 70's and dedicated it in part to the murderer of Bobby Kennedy. Does that bother you?

This has truly puzzled me. I know many would say that they are being compassionate toward the mother, but doesn't the baby count for anything? I know there will be many nut jobs answering this questions, but I am really looking for a serious, well reasoned answer. To those of you who will do that, thanks in advance.

Every time I type "Obama" its spell checker thinks I have misspelled the word and prompts me to change it to "Osama". I'm a Republican, and it shouldn't bother me, but it seems ridiculous that Yahoo hasn't figured out by now that "Obama" is a correct spelling.

He should have chosen Hilary. It was a no brainer! Instead he chose Biden who, during the primaries, said that Obama doesn't have the experience to be president. Biden also said that he would have been honored to be McCain's running mate. And now he says that, due to Obama's lack of experience, he will be "tested" by other nations, to see how far they can push him, possibly leading us into another war. Obama's first and most important decision so far and he blew it big time!

I mean, we hear a lot about his experience as a community organizer but I've heard nothing what he did specifically. Did he knock on doors to get people to vote? Did he champion a cause? If so, what cause and how did he do it? Please be specific.
