I was in Alexandria, Egypt last year sitting in a park with a friend when suddenly 2 stones came flying over. We looked back and found that we were being stoned by 2 darling children who ran away when we got up!

My question goes to Arabs: Why in many Arab countries do children throw stones at foreigners? Do they just do this to foreigners? Is it a game? It is because of curiosity? Do their parents tell them to do this?

Please give me some reasons so I can understand why they do it and what is the best way to deal with this situation when it happens?

Has anyone noticed that ever since we were stopped from taking water through customs at airports, the water prices sold on the other side of customs have tripled?

En Inglaterra si voy al pub, una botella de coca cola de 330ml cuesta en la mayoria de casos 1 libra.

En espanya si voy a un bar, una coca cola de solo 200ml...o sea menos cantidad que no llena mi vaso, me cuesta 2 euros 50?

Es decir en Inglaterra no solo me cuesta menos, sino que recibo mas...pero en teoria una coca cola tendria que valer menos en espanya visto que es un pais mas barato.

Is this a political fight, a religious fight? What is it? Why is Lebanon continuosly in conflict?

lebanon is not Israel, yes there is just as much fighting in lebanon as there is in Israel? Maybe this means that if Israel didn't exist, the region would still be in conflict regardless.

Why are the conflicts always in this part of the world?

How can religion be that strong to someone that they are prepared to kill and take the lives of others which were supposedly given by God who made everything perfect?

In my personal opinion, Lebanon can only live in peace without governers such as religious strong hezbollah!

Do they not see that by following their religion so strongly, they are in fact doing everything that is wrong!

I'm sorry extremist Muslims, but no war can be justified by religion!!!

And these people will never have peace all the time they have these religious strong figures spreading hatred

Firstly they have been so slow at helping the people affected by the Cyclone....I mean the death toll has gone from 300 to 22000....and this has taken days to find out!

Then according to Yahoo news:

So they are even restricting help...how can they be so cruel?

Do you not find it a strange coincidence that Arabs and Israelies when saying "hello" both say "Peace" (Salam and shalom) yet this is an area of the world where peace is very rare!?

Do they say "peace" to greet one another because their history has been so full of conflict? Or is this just pure coincidence?

Do the Israelies and Palestinians not see that they are both wrong in the conflict - which is why they are not achieving peace - they are both causing so much pain and hatred.

I can really understand both sides of the argument: Israel being so tired of terrorism that they are now going to extreme lengths and Palestinians feeling punished and pushed to the limits by Israel.

If the terrorism stopped, then so would Israel's punishments but with the punishments, Israel are causing even more hatred. How can a palestinian want to make peace with an israeli now? Now that they have killed so many innocent people and caused so much pain?
