2 AnswersLanguages10 years agoJust Hoping For An Honest Comment?
Alright, I'm here today sitting in front of my computer pondering about the many things that comes to my mind everyday in my life.. Whatever that I'm about to post and ask may be gibberish to some and rhetorical in some sense but even so, I hope to get an honest comment to it.
You see.. the vast diversity that exist among the homo sapiens is indisputably complex and difficult to even come close to a conclusion. We make a plentiful of decisions that revolves in so many things and these actions are always concentrated to ones own mean or goal whether it directly or indirectly affects someone else. Our survival instinct has thought us that much ever since we first experience the wonders of life, and it grows to accommodate a larger array of things that we, the people that are close to us, or even someone entirely unknown to us desires. It's like.. we are all somehow linked to a larger, incomprehensible network of biological creatures. We listen to one another, there is nothing beyond time or space that is not transferable between us and this propels a self-ordered cycle which is unbroken for as long as we exist. And for that, it accounts for the many good things and atrocities that constantly bombards the society that we live in today.
We've come so far in forming the habitats that we grow accustomed to despite of all the hurdles that exist in the past, present, and the future to come. So much has been done to ensure the continuity of our survival, but why? Why do we strife so hard to fit in an unending cycle of life when we know that we are doing so much damage not just to ourselves but also to the very precious 'things' that fuels us. I appreciate life as much as most of the population of the world, hoping that things would be better tomorrow as compared to yesterday. But what is it that really tells us to keep going forward even when we know the ultimate outcome of our efforts projected throughout our life. People of all races, ethnics, colors, sexes, and etc. are always so eager to do something as if they're 'meant' to do so. Just like what I'm doing right now. Does all these actions that we perform every single day of our life cumulates to something of better significance? Is it based individually and constitute of no more than self-gratification or perhaps these so-called segregated events are nothing more but the sub-division of a larger task that finds its own respected host?
I see birth, death, and other events as nothing more but a projection, more like a series of stories branched from the very core that generates them. These 'events' are important to our survival because they justify our greatest desire to live. We are nothing more but an accumulation of a multitude of 'elements' that controls us. Our ideologies and beliefs that we so come to believe as absolute is perhaps nothing more but a tool to 'something' immeasurable and unexpected.
Well, I guess that's about it and hope you are having a day of your choice. :)
3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture10 years agoDo I like/love her not?... Kindly, I need your opinion?
Well, ever since I entered University (it's been awhile, I'm on my Masters and she's about to graduate presently), I was captivated by a girl..she's smart, kinda attractive, innocent and outgoing. The first few months was fine when we made friends, until recently I contact less with her (could say that I totally ignored her). I find it complicated and difficult to decide what am I suppose to do, I had a long history of a very sad relationship with a girl that I love so much and things did not work out as it is. And ever since that incident, I socialized very little with my opposite sex, giving them the cold look when they are showing interest in me, would walk by them as if they are not there and etc.
It's been quite awhile since my previous relationship (2 years more). She had feelings for me, but I refuse to let her get close to me, even I myself don't know what's the reason i did so even though I'm very sure that I had this deep feeling of having to care for her.. I compare her with my ex all the time, besides having the plus side of being smart and pure, she's lack of the beauty that I'm looking for.
I'm looking for someone who can live with me, understand me, to share my feeling with.. and she's the right girl to live your entire life with; but I don't understand why am I rejecting her? Why am I being so fussy? What is wrong with me?
Any comments or opinions are kindly welcomed. (10 points)
